Good morning PF-ers!
So I have a question, I am thinking about buying my first soft pink bag, its a beautiful rose bucket bag. Even though I love the color, the only apprehension I have is weather pink is a classical enough color that I will be able to use it for years to come. As you posters all own pink bags, how ling have you had yours? And how versatile do you find your pink bag, matching with outfits etc? Generally Im not one to follow trends but sometimes when something gets overused (even when I dont own it) I get saturated. Since pink has been trending the last few years Im afraid this might happen, but cant remember if pink is a color that always stay of comes back in fashion or get out of fashion...do you consider pink a classic color?
Thanks! Would love to hear your opinions :)

Pink is absolutely a classic color that never goes out of style. I've never not owned at least one pink bag. Currently I have two: bright true pink and salmon pink and I'd like to get a third in a "dark" pastel pink. I wear my pink bags more in spring / summer but still definitely wear them all four seasons. I consider pink a neutral pop of color like red.

Pink easily compliments black, grey, cream, white, brown, blue, burgundy, taupe, turquoise / teal, khaki, green, purple and silver. Depending on the shade and your preferences for brights, it can also be paired with red and yellow.

I'm trying to think of what it wouldn't go with. I don't know that I'd wear it with animal print, orange.

In any case, IMO pink bags are wonderful adds to a wardrobe.

I definitively agree that pink goes with so many colors, tested it yesterday with a friends purse haha. But great to know that you consider it a classical color and never out of style! Just what I wanted to hear :D I really think it would make a great addition to my collection, as I own so many neutral colors (brown, black, grey) to be on the safe side. But I also own smaller bags in reds, blue and silver which I love to wear for how they can add that finishing touch to an outfit. Like a cherry on top of the cream...I think the pink bag would do the same for me :) Thanks Sparkletastic!

I think many non-neutrals have trended over the last few years and pink is one of the most popular because a) no one notices when black bags sell best (and they still do) b) emerging markets are targeted by marketing and ATM these have liked bright colours and most pinks.

Dusky (cool) or soft blush (warm, soft) pink can be worn as neutrals. Not only do I have a V. Westwood suede bag but also a Summer briefcase (Paul Smith) in blush. Both of these bags I've literally had forever.
