It was so strange that NM had a sought after exclusive, would only order a relative few, so would just end up creating a market for Barneys to sell tons of them. I don't know if there is an official answer as to who will have it, but I was first told by BALNY and NM that only NM would have it. Then that was revised to say Barneys would have it about a month later. Maybe NM is protesting the non-exclusivity of the lilac now that they know they are selling. Who knows? I can't imagine it would be a different lilac. I hope by spring collection BALNY will have it, in all styles. The other NM exclusive, the new version of the shoulder (called the Hip or something) will be in the spring lineup. So I'm just hoping - no inside scoop to base that on.
Opinions! Do you think Barneys Lilac will be the exact same color as NM 09 LE Lilac?

^^That's not a lot of bags if it's for Nationwide? I wouldn't be surprised if Bal added this limited edition color lilac to their s/s '10 stock - I just don't want to wait that long!

Okay now I'm totally confused.
The SA at SF Barney's said she had to grab the "look book" and found the Lilac in there. Now, I don't typically deal with her b/c I don't buy retail, but she sounded like she knew what she was talking about.
I'm with the others to are just gonna wait and see if Barney's will get them. I'll also call to confirm but haven't had time b/c I'm leaving for vacation tonight.

^^Are you sure she wasn't looking at a "new pink" swatch that's due for '10? Maybe she thought it was lilac'ish???
^^That would be nice, but I highly doubt it. That would be a LOT of lilac! Probably 20 total in the system would be my guess.
