Opinions about Orange Birkin

I have an orange picotin and its lovely and matches a lot of things.
I found it easier to match with my outfits than my red purses, which I love but found it hard to match.

Orange goes well with navy outfits (any tone of blue really), crisp white, neutrals, green, purple/pink even. The only downside to it is that with black outfits it looks Halloween-y. But I have so many other bags to wear with black outfits this is a moot point.
Another con is (if it matters to you at all) the 'resale value' of the purse is not as high as other colours.

I really like orange and tried a Picotin on in store. Ultimately, I decided against it because I just couldn't be sure that I would reach for it. I do have an orange Ulysse that I've been using for about a decade. I suppose the Ulysse fulfills the need for "something orange" in my collection without having to commit to a bag!

I just spent two years trying to convince myself that I felt comfortable with a pop colour B30 before finally giving up, so I wouldn’t do it again. However in a smaller bag I would definitely go there (I once saw an older lady, dressed in black in Paris carrying a Picotin 18 in orange, so chic!).
That said, I’ve seen an orange swift B30 on here somewhere, so beautiful in swift and depending on the climate where you live and your comfort zone it could be amazing. I live in frequently grey and miserable UK, so bright is harder to live with year round. Potiron (although I think that would need to be preloved) is a more muted shade that is maybe easier to wear?

Nice. I have all colours except green in my wardrobe. From your experience, which colours match the best with your orange Kelly?
Navy, green, yellow — let’s cut to the chase here, all the earth colors plus grey, navy and for a dash of ghoul, black. It really is a neutral. I know you said you do not look good in green, but there is dark green for cooler complexions all the way to yellow green and everything is between. You might want to gather different green items and drape each next to your face and see which hue brings you to life and which ones make you look ghastly.

I love my orange B35 !! It’s so much easier to wear than say my rouge grenat B35-and the classic H orange is not currently or readily available as far as I know (and it hasn’t been for a while) , but I understand that H offers other oranges as substitutes (feu and orange poppy come to mind ). I always look forward to using my orange B much more than my other two - and when I take it out of its cloth bag - I can’t help feeling joyful - love it so much ! As a side note- my clothes are very neutral (lots of black/khaki / blues and white) - that my orange B always looks great ...fully endorse orange !

I have a feu B30 and love it. I think the color is a great, happy color and goes well with a variety of other colors. I know others have said it's a great neutral color and I agree. I, and actually my DH and DS, have always been drawn to the color orange and regularly purchase things in that color, so having a bag in that color range was a natural for me. In fact, I've owned several other orange non-H bags in the past as well.

So, if you like it and the color brings you joy, I say go for it.

What are your thoughts on Orange Birkin? Iconic? Too bright? Etc.

Also, do you think an orange B30 is relatively available from boutiques given the color, or is an extensive history required?

Thanks in advance
The orange Birkin 35cm w/GH was my second Birkin and remains a much loved part of my collection. Completely iconic- I’ve worn it in winter. Nothing like a pop of color against a snowy landscape.
