My wedding ring is Tiffany, a shared setting full diamond band, the quality is great, can't comment on VCA.

Of your two I prefer the Tiffany because the metal ring setting around the outside of the halo is hardly visible. The VCA seems heavier and less fine.

Both are gorgeous, lucky girl!

Lafemmenikita, thanks for your opinion. I find the overall structure of T&Co to be very dainty. My fingers are quite plump & short. So, am worried the ring does not look good on the finger... What do you think ?

I can understand you having a difficult time deciding :p Both are beautiful!

However the VCA ring has a less visible setting, which IMO makes it look more intricate - I'd go for this personally.

Thanks Storm Spirit ! I am too first drawn to this VCA design by its clean lines that don't look too dainty on me. Yet, feminine enough to command attention...

I prefer the look of the Tiffany ring better. As for the brands, I would pick Tiffany as there is almost a Tiffany in every major city in the world. You can just walk into anyone of them and have your ring cleaned and stones inspected for free. To me, that is a huge after sales service plus. Been using this service for years and I am very happy with the service.

Thanks MatAllston for your comments. You've brought up a valid point. There are both VCA and T&Co boutiques where I live. So, I guess I am OK with either should there be a need for service & etc in future.

VCA by a small margin, I love the larger diamonds used in the halo and VCA has the best settings and technique :D

Oh Candice0985 , thanks for highlighting an important criteria - the technique & craftmanship. Is it a known fact in the fine jewelry area that VCA has the best settings & technique ? Sorry if my question is silly as i am ignorant and new in this area... I would like this ring to be sturdy enough to last a long time (maybe to even pass on to my children in 20-30 years time) without risking any stones dropping off & etc...

I'm surprised at myself but I prefer the Tiffany, it looks like it was meant to be on your finger.

Oh, the modeling pic of T&Co is not mine but of another lovely tpfer. Her fingers are just so beautiful that brings forth the beauty of the ring. Alas , my fingers are the exact opposite. The modeling pic of VCA is mine. What are your thoughts now ? Tiffany / VCA ? TIA !

I prefer the Tiffany setting. I like that the halo looks separate from the center stone, whereas the VCA halo isn't quite as defined.

I don't think you could go wrong with either though! ;)

I think with any pave work there is always a risk of pave stones falling out because the claws are so tiny and can be damaged over the years, no matter which brand or designer I think the ring should be checked on a yearly basis to make sure the prongs are still in good condition :smile1: VCA is well known for their setting techniques such as the mystery setting used in some of their designs where no metal at all is visible in the setting!

Darling if that is your hand in the photo, your fingers are anything but plump and short!!! It looks beautiful on you.

I still prefer the Tiffany, I think if the vca diamond was different and showed separation from the halo I would go for that but I think the larger Tiffany will suit your hand better.
