Hello everyone ,
I am looking for an upgrade for my ering. Love the halo design & have narrowed down my options to :

1) VCA Icone ring - 0.7ct E VVS2

2) T&Co Embrace ring - 0.97ct G VVS2

Both the individual ring pics were taken from their respective website. The modeling pic of VCA was mine (though the ring size was too small on my 'meaty' finger) while the T&Co was from a lovely tpfer (hope she doesn't mind & she wears it beautifully). Both prices are similar but VCA's solitaire is much smaller (still the overall size is comparable to T&Co due to the bigger diamonds that form the halo). Have tried both. Found that T&Co's structure maybe a little dainty for my 'meaty' finger but is very interested with the bigger carat...

What are your thoughts on both designs, the workmanship, the brands ...

It's my first time starting a new thread. Apologize in advance if pics do not turn out right / etc ...

Note the first modeling pic is T&Co.
The individual rings of VCA & T&Co pics from website did not turn up again... Trying again ... Can't seem to attach 2 pics at the same time.

This is T&Co

Wow, both rings are beautiful! The Tiffany is a great, classic ring. The VCA has a vintage feel.
It's hard to choose but I if I had to, the VCA wins by a tiny margin!

both are absolutely beautiful and breathtaking!

I don't know if it the lighting, but the Tiffany one looks like a more obvious halo, the way teh diamonds are set.

For the VCA, the setting is more invisible. It gives more the impression of a larger diamond at first glance.

I would have a hard time deciding! what sings to you more?

Thanks Junkenpo ! Your eyes are sharp. Yes, T&Co's diamonds that form the halo are much smaller, so the halo is more visible . Totally agree with you on VCA that it looks a bigger stone at a glance.

Each design is beautiful on its own. That's why I can't seem to pick one. Any comments on both brands as to their workmanship & branding ?

My wedding ring is Tiffany, a shared setting full diamond band, the quality is great, can't comment on VCA.

Of your two I prefer the Tiffany because the metal ring setting around the outside of the halo is hardly visible. The VCA seems heavier and less fine.

Both are gorgeous, lucky girl!

I can understand you having a difficult time deciding :p Both are beautiful!

However the VCA ring has a less visible setting, which IMO makes it look more intricate - I'd go for this personally.

I prefer the look of the Tiffany ring better. As for the brands, I would pick Tiffany as there is almost a Tiffany in every major city in the world. You can just walk into anyone of them and have your ring cleaned and stones inspected for free. To me, that is a huge after sales service plus. Been using this service for years and I am very happy with the service.
