Hi everyone, so I can’t get this bag out of my mind.
upload_2020-4-16_13-11-10.jpeg
How is yours holding up?
How is the shape/structure?
How is the bottom (no feet so I’m nervous)?
Any issues with the corners, or with leather creasing?

Thanks so much! Any updated reviews good or bad, or any other issues I should be aware of are greatly appreciated. :flowers:

I have one and I absolutely love the style. I am having an issue with mine, though, where the leather in one of the corners is puckering and misshapen after just a couple uses. If you go watch Carol Summer's youtube video review, you'll see how the bag gets slouchy over time. It personally doesn't bother me, but it's worth a watch if you're considering the bag!

*edit: I've emailed LV about fixing the corner, and they just said they aren't taking any requests to repair right now and I can get in contact when the stores open up again.

Thank you for this! Would you mind adding a pic of the corner you’re having an issue with? Thanks again

Sure, I've added the photos I sent them here. Let us know what you decide
Oh I see it. I wonder if a liner would prevent that or a base shaper? Still we shouldn’t have to purchase additional items to prevent warping, especially so early in ownership..
I’ve had empreinte pieces and I know leather stretches with use but I don’t know if this would bother me or if it’s avoidable?
Let us know if they do decide this is a defect. And thanks for your thoughts and pics!

I was actually using an organizer and this still happened! I think it's just a defect in the way the bag was constructed so I'm hoping they'll be able to fix or replace it. Otherwise absolutely love the bag!

Oh so there are no real safeguards to prevent this. That’s unfortunate and I’m sorry this happened to your bag. I wonder if this is common with all the empreinte onthegos?
Would you purchase it again knowing that this could/would happen?

Yes absolutely, I've thought about it and there really is no other black tote I've ever seen that I like more than this one, so I would purchase it again. I know it's going to get slouchy over time, too, so this won't stick out as an obvious "defect".

I can live with the puckering if it’s inevitable. I do wonder if after prolonged use, the bag may crease or wrinkle at the stress points? So straight across the bag where the puckering occurs. To have creases straight across the bag would really hinder the beauty of the front and back. I hope more owners chime in with there experience so far. It will be helpful to know if all the OTG are puckering.

Maybe someone in the OTG club would chime in - you could ask there! https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/on-the-go-tote-otg-club.1009973/

This is a known issue with the corners of the On the Go. Thankfully, neither of mine are like that but I’ve seen it in all styles of the On the Go except for the Epi. It’s most obvious in the summer 2019 Giant collection in Kaki and Rouge. The repair specialist at my local store says that it generally happens due to people filling the bag to maximum capacity.
Please keep us posted as to the repair/replacement of your bag.

Will do! I was really surprised this happened because I had only used it twice, probably a total of 4 hours, and it while it was full, it wasn't overstuffed. Either way I will keep the group updated on what LV says when they open back up for repairs :)
