Hi Ladies,

I just made my first order online. I was really surprised and happy how fast they are. 1 day later my order has arrived in my store. thats really fast. I will go to pick it up tomorrow.

I just made my thoughts how you like the way of order online and pick it up at the store? do you like it that way? if yes why, if not why not?

for me personal like I said it's the first time.
because the store is always so full of People .. it's annoying to wait + they don't have many Things in stock These days.
with the online order, I def get what I want + the way to the store is worth it when i go with the purchase home that i wanted.
I can't ship it to my home adress because I'm always at work. So this sounds like the perfect solution.
But I wonder how nice it is at the end and how practical.

do they just give me the purchase and thank you bye? or is it lovely treated in a box and bag like I normally get when I buy something in the store? do they Show me my purchase before they handle it to me so that I can take a look before leaving the store?
how is the handling? I would like to hear some of your experiences.

btw do you get a differemt Treatment when you say you just want to collect your order? I wonder if they will serve you than first because you just want to pick someting up, don't Need Service or to look at some bags, or if they let you wait like you want the whole Service .. that would be really annoying..

so great to hear maybe some of your thoughts about it .

Treatment is completely different each time but always nice. When I picked up a SLG in empreinte cérise (which I had been stalking for weeks) the SA was super nice and offered coffee and champagne even though I "only" wanted to pick up my online order. One other time the store was packed and I was just given my purchase (but still nicely packaged) without further ado. However I never felt that they wanted to push me to buy something else in-store.

yes, it is lovely treated in a box and bag like you normally get when you buy something in the store. yes they will show you the bag first.
in my store, i go to their "pick-up and repair room" at the very back of the store to get it

I rarely have delivered to store. I mostly purchase in store and occasionally order. When I have picked up in store it was literally handed to me in bag (and box).

The two times I was having 2nd thoughts about my purchase an SA (different from the one who retrieved my order) spent the time to talk to me about the usage of my item. They didn't need to convince me since I already bought it but it was nice that they did . From that point of view - I did have the boutique experience since i still got to talk to someone about an item I bought online.

Yes came in the bag with the box and ribbon and I see the item beforehand. Sometimes the ribbon is just tucked in the box.

Only once had I ordered online and had it delivered to a store. It was the Christmas edition of the mini pouchette with the lion.

When I got there I told the CS rep I was there for an order pickup and gave her my name. She went in the back to get it. When she showed me, she couldn’t believe I was able to get this pouchette. She commented on how nice it was and hard to find. She then asked if I would like it wrapped. I told her yes please.

I waited about 3 minutes tops. She came out with a shopping bag with my Pouchette in the box with the ribbon/ gift card you usually get when you order on line.

It was a nice experience. They were all so nice. I have since visited this store twice.

I’m rarely home to sign for packages and the San Diego store is 5 minutes from my work...so it’s much easier for me to pick up in the store. My instore experience there has always been fantastic.

I think it depends on how busy they are. So far they have always been very nice when I picked up an online order. They also presented the item and boxed it up nicely.

I’ve ordered on line and ship to the store all the time. All the benefits of shopping in store and shipping to store are the same. Your SA will bring out your item and it’s already boxed and bagged with the ribbon. They detach a receipt from the shopping bag and they check you out - all you have to do is sign for it. You can take the item out and give it a look over to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase [emoji4] I’ve always received perfume samples with my purchase on line and each time there was a mini dust bag with perfume samples in the shopping bag too.
Reasons for doing this:
Sometimes the LV Store doesn’t have an item and it’s easier to find on line.
You don’t have anyone home during delivery times to sign for the item.
You want to look an item over with your SA to make sure there are not quality issues with your purchase before leaving the store.
The only downfall to this method is .... I have no self control [emoji53] I goto to pick up an item and come out with 3 (facepalm)

I’ve had a mixed experience. One time during Christmas I had to wait forever just to pick up. I realize it’s a busy time but I still shouldn’t have to wait for someone to just hand me a bag. But in every instance I received a well packaged item including bag, ribbon, etc. Only once did I receive perfume samples. Overall I do like to order and pick up at the store. I don’t think it takes away from the experience.

I had my Pochette Métis in reverse monogram sent to the store since I was going on vacation and wouldn’t be home. I prefer having items shipped to my house since then I’m not charged sales tax since my state doesn’t have a store. Since I collected in store I had to pay tax plus and hour and half drive. The process was fine they had it boxed up in a shopping bag.

Sorry to revive this thread. My estimated delivery date to store is today, but I haven’t received the email confirmation. To those who have used this feature, do you always get an email confirmation?

I’m paranoid they’ll sell my order to someone else or forget to email/text me...:hrmm: last time I placed an order in store I got another “receipt” when my order arrived (as my CA took the card imprint but the charge was only pending and only went through when it arrived) but nowhere did it say in the email it was ready for pickup.

You get an email that states that your item is now available to pick up.

Thanks! After my CA failed to notify me of my order last time I’ve become paranoid. Emails better than text - they seem to have pulled my mobile from my in store profile which no longer receives text.
