I arrived in Paris, this morning from the US. Let me say I have no history in Paris. I have an Evelyne and a K35 which I have bought preloved. I have a couple of belts and scarves and perfume all bought online as I don’t have a store in my state. I applied yesterday for an appointment for today on both my husband and my passport. Both declined yesterday evening. As we landed this morning we applied again. We are staying in the Sofihotel on Faubourg. As the driver approached the hotel my husband pointed out the store at the end of the street. It was quiet at 10:40 am. We check in and we quickly freshen up. I ask him if I should see if they have any cancellations we are here for 3 nights before going to Ireland and then coming back for another 3 nights before heading home.
I go inside and I ask about the process and there is a lady whom is not pleasant. I ask if I can see if there are any cancellations. She directs me to the leather section and I meet this young lady and ask her. She asks me what I would be looking for and I say a Constance. She speaks with this other lady and they both approach me and the lady starts to speak me. I tell her I would like a Constance and she tells me she has a few and to follow her. She takes myself and my husband upstairs and we sit and chat. She’s super friendly and asks us about ourselves. We are originally from Ireland living in US 10 years. Then she said what colors & leathers I would like. Then she said would I wish for anything else? I said I would love a birkin 25 or 30 but I know I can only dream and I know there is probably nothing available. She asks colors I would prefer I say gold would be my dream then black.

She says ok let me see what we have.She takes us upstairs to a quiet part of the store. She has two boxes. The first is a Constance in a light blue grey color. It’s pretty but I’m curious about the other box. She tells me to close my eyes and when I look it’s a B25 in Gold clemence leather with gold hardware. I’m jet lagged and shocked still. I will post a photo when I get back to open it. There are purses available! I guess I was just extremely lucky. Excuse any bad grammar or spelling I’m seriously tired!

What a story! I'm so happy for you. Which Constance did you get? And would you mind sharing the price please? I will be headed there soon.

bought a Constance 18 epsom in June the price was 5700-5800€ don’t remember exactly.
Price will depend on the leather. You can always contact customer service and they will told you the price. Xx

I got the B25 in Gold with ghw

The Constances were €4800+ depending on the leather. The prices are on display up to €12500 for the ostrich skin.They didn’t have any neutrals in the C24 which is what I was looking for. The only neutral was the light grey/blue in evercalf. It was really pretty if it was my only option I would have taken it but the B25 was a dream bag and to be honest if I had said originally I wanted a birkin when I went in I would most likely been turned away. It was just in conversation when asked If i had one wish what would it be and I said I would love the Birkin.
You may have more luck in a few weeks. The had beautiful barenia Constance on display. I would love one.

May I ask what constance was priced at €4,800? I bought my C24 etain epsom rghw for €7,350 last year while the 18s is around €5,600 back then if I am not mistaken..

I don’t know what leather it was my husband was looking in the cases and told me they had a C18 for that price. To be honest I didn’t look at pricing as much as he did. To be offered any bag was a Privilege to me. My purse was €7000. The SA said it was clemence when I checked my receipt it says Togo and the twillys were €320 for the pair. The tax return is €720. Which will probably be cancelled out by the customs excise duty back into the US

The Constance in the size 18 isn’t 4800€. I bought a 18 in epsom beginning of June 5800€ depending on the leather a different of a fews hundred € but not 1000€. Xx

It’s not like you go in and tell the SA your budget and have them work around that.

Your husband might have mistaken because the last time i bought c18 in epsom which i believe is the cheapest leather is already priced at €5,650:smile:
