I bought Tiffany’s in the early 2000s (sterling silver heart toggle anyone? and other sterling silver pieces).
I now have a big Cartier and VCA collection although I have some Tiffany pieces in the mix. I actually just bought the pave Tiffany smile last month and got the 16 stone ring 3 years ago. For what it’s worth at least at my local boutique, the qualifity of service and luxury experience far surpasses my local VCA, where I have spent lots of $$$$ but never felt my business was valued. All of the Tiffany’s locations I have been to over the last few years have really provided exceptional service. I was really impressed.
Stunning and so classic! Here are my rings! (I don't want to post everything but will post new additions moving forward!) A Tiffany Novo Horizon diamond ring in white gold and a Legacy Collection ring in platinum with diamonds and pink sapphires--these are my engagement rings! I wanted two dainty sparkly rings instead of one with a large rock. My wedding band is also a dainty Tiffany Classic milgrain in platinum. As you can see, my taste is true to my name!

I too share your sentiment about Tiffany's. I have been a life long customer and my love of the brand started when I was a child. I inherited my great grandmother's art deco sapphire and diamond Tiffany engagement ring when I was 37 and it was passed down along with the story of my great grandfather's visit to the original NYC store in Manhattan in 1928. Now being in my early 60s, with the sale to LV, I am seeing the changes to the iconic brand I grew up with. It is sad but many other brands have been sold and still continue to offer great customer service and have maintained the quality of the product (i.e. Harry Winston). I swore off Tiffany as you did and decided I was going to spend my resources at Cartier and also Kwiat.I've shared in other posts how turned off I was to Tiffany's "Not your mother's Tiffany" campaign and subsequent marketing. I was 100% a Tiffany gal/lady, my engagement rings (I have two) and wedding band are Tiffany, I shopped there in my 30s and 40s and early 50s but didn't want to support a brand that insults me. I left for Cartier and I do love my Cartier pieces! I was over sterling, too. However I peeked at Tiffany's current offerings and I placed an order! I do not have an SA there, I ordered online. I asked my husband what he thought of all this and he replied: "One should never swear off of Tiffany."
Has anyone else broken up with Tiffany and come back?
One other thing I want to add is that not once did I have any SA send me gifts. Cartier spoiled me! I wish Tiffany gave that level of attention and care.
Yes, we are very much aligned in our experience! Thank you for sharing this. My most recent Tiffany purchase is the Paloma Picasso Olive Leaf pendant and I love it. I had planned to sell some of my earlier sterling pieces but I am back to wearing them again!I too share your sentiment about Tiffany's. After reevaluating, I decided I was a Tiffany girl at heart and always will be. As much as I love my Cartier pieces, I haven't had the best service in their boutiques recently and I feel that their quality has slightly declined (especially with diamond jewelry, using florescent diamonds in bands). I have had several interactions with Tiffany's customer service representatives in the last two years and they have always been top notch as well as my in-store interactions. Also, I love the convenience of being able to have my pieces cleaned when I stop by in person. I bounce between Washington DC and Naples, Florida and there are stores close to me in both locations; another plus! They offer pieces at all prices points which I also love. Lastly, at the end of the day, under the new ownership, they have maintained the T & Co. quality so far and hopefully will continue to do so.
I'm a Tiffany addict. I buy, wear, sell, sometimes re-buy what I sold because I miss it. Yea, current ad campaigns (why do I need to pay for Haley Bieber or Beyonce?) and prices are a big turn off, but I can't help it.I've shared in other posts how turned off I was to Tiffany's "Not your mother's Tiffany" campaign and subsequent marketing. I totally agree! I like their classic pieces.I'd never say never, but at the moment, very little there is tempting to me. I started shopping there in the 90s, and the designs from the 90s through early 2000s were more my style. I still love and wear the pieces I purchased then. I was already moving away from Tiffany when LVMH took over, and much of their current aesthetic doesn't suit me.
Wow! What an amazing collection! Thanks for sharing. We don't see any Tiffany ads here in Australia although saw it on other people's insta. I started collecting Tiffany in 2021 and went Obsessed with it then something happened n I was majorly put off early this year & no eye for T anymore, just done with it. I moved to Cartier in Feb and fell in love. Sold some of my T collection to fund my JUC and Love bracelet. I thought I was done with my stack but my current tennis bracelet didn't stack well with JUC & Love so I ended up getting a Tiffany Metro as Cartier didn't have Etincelle in my size hahaha. But Metro definitely will be my last T purchase. Don't get me wrong I still love my T collection. But now my eyes are open to other brand like Cartier & Chaumet. And my next purchase this year is Love Rainbow *finger cross i can find one prelove. Here's some of my collection accumulated in 1 yr and 3months.
