It's the cameras lens ;-)
Most people think if you are going to take pictures of jewelery on a person you just need to get close to the model. They might use a a 24mm lens so that they can stand close. This results in this wider angle effect of that which is closer to the camera will look HUGE. In actuality it is much better to shoot with a long lens (105mm perhaps) and stand back.
Here is an example...see how big the closest part of the arm is?

BY looking at these, I'm guessing they were taken with a wide angle canon point and shoot though. In that case it would benefit them to stand back and zoom in to get rid of the wide angle effect.

Yeah...sorry for the photography nerd moment. Photography forums aren't as friendly or as fun as TPF. :blushing:

On topic I'd suggest
a tiffany's key, lock, bean, or SS DBTY.
Or I really like their miny bead bracelets.

But like someone else, I've moved away from silver and would rather save a little more for white gold, if silver doesn't bother you though..you should have a lot of options :-)

Yes I'm OK with silver. I am just afraid of tarnish I suppose. But I looooove the Tiffany stuff, so It's just something I'll have to deal with.

I was never a silver person either because I was too worried about tarnish but Tiffany silver doesn't seem to tarnish as fast. Also buy the polishing cloth from Tiffany's, it's $5 and seriously works wonders!

My suggestions are: Tiffany key collection, Elsa Peretti alphabet, DBTY or 1837 collection.

Tiffany's just gave me my silver cloth...hmmm?.?.? I don't know if that was good old Tennessee hospitality or because I bought a gold key on a silver chain?? The previous silver thing I bought from there (actually DH, not me, in a different city) was 9 years ago and they didn't offer it to him.
I will agree though..those items bought 9 years ago have very little if any tarnish.
