One bag collection

The one I love (although whether you'd consider it versatile enough is probably relative) is the Prada Galleria. I wear mine a lot. It's the only bag all the women in my family love (we all have different tastes, but we can all agree on the Galleria!).

Maybe POLENE Numero Neuf? Or are you looking for a more expensive bag?

For me the Birkin and the Kelly are absolutely not practical to wear, too heavy, too complicated to go in and out. I don't like both bags (sorry - and I have sold my 2 Kelly's because of this.

I have the Neuf (and the Huit) and I love it. The only reason I'm considering anything else is because sometimes it's hard to get a book in and out of the bag.

Looks like I'll stick to the Polene bags. Thanks for sharing your experience with the Kelly!

Does anyone have a good bag that works for all occasions? Medium capacity but light, top handle, shoulder and crossbody straps? Versatile enough for l uses and occasions? I was thinking about the Hermes Birkin and Kelly, but are there other, better choices?

I forgot to put what I wanted to carry around. I don't have a lot of stuff I like to carry around but I want to be able to bring a book, which makes it difficult because some books are bigger than others.

Would you consider the LV Pochette Metis East West? It's available in monogram but also in leather for a more quiet style. I have three of them because it just work so well. Compact, light to carry but enough capacity, super easy access through the flap and easy to dress up and down for different occasions. Strap can be worn on the shoulder and crossbody or you could use the chain, also the leather ones are pretty much carefree.

Thank you for your idea! I'm not into LV myself, but I have box style bags that work the same way. The only thing is no top handle.
