Curious if anyone has (or had at one point) both and which would get their vote of the two? I know the obvious differences between the two (structure, straps/handles, pockets, etc.) but I'm curious what are everyone's preferences of the two for everyday, travel or work.

I do currently have a NF but it's gotten pretty slouchy even with an organizer. I don't tend to reach for it as often for day to day stuff and I'm thinking I'd like the structure of the on the go but I wonder if it would hold as much as the NF? I'm not someone who can throw so much in it that I have to dig to find it, I prefer some organization and would use a samorga in the on the go too.

TIA!

I don't personally care for the OTG - much prefer the Dior Book Tote, though I recognize that it's not exactly the bag one would want to wear hard. I think the NF is so perfect in GM size for travel. I personally would not be able to do a hand-carry-only tote bag, and it doesn't limit you to that. Go with the OTG if you like it, or consider some type of firm base shaper or stiffer bag organizer for the NF.

I currently have both. The OTG is very structured compared to the NF which flops around. It's personal preference, but I like the OTG better. I like the wider straps on the OTG and it's easier to wear on the shoulder than the NF. For some reason the NF just doesn't sit right on the shoulder.

I have both… OTG MM in black Epi & Neverfull MM. I use the OTG way more. I love it. For work & as an every day. I like it’s structure. It makes a great office bag. The space is more than sufficient for me. The neverfull holds more. I find the straps pretty much the same on my shoulder. I can shoulder carry both easily. My neverfull is escale - if it weren’t such a loud print I’d use it in the office. I only use it casually because of the print.

I honestly wouldn’t use either for travel due to the open unsecure top. I bought a speedy b35 for travel. Also makes another great office bag.

Another vote for OTG. I have it in both empreinte black and turtle dove, and like them for work. I sold my NF, because I don’t like the strings making noise on the side of the bag when I walk.

I have both, Neverfull MM, GM and just got the OTG GM. My plans for the OTG is work bag b/c I like the longer straps on shoulder and I can use the shorter ones for top handle carry only. I love the Neverfull, but not for work. With my laptop, charger and agenda + other stuff, the straps dig in. The Neverfulls are my mom weekend casual bag when I need to pack lots of stuff or travel bags where I’m not hauling a heavier laptop & charger.

I had Neverfull and I have used it as diaper bag!!
And I did use it for travel I put the wallet inside the zipper compartment (the older style comes with zipper compartment not a seperate pouch). I like it that I can stuff my jacket inside, also a water bottle when I walk around while travelling. I don't have OTG I think it makes good work bag because it looks more structured . The Neverfull looks more causal. Although NF can carry more I don't use it as work bag because I think the strap is too weak to carry the weight of laptop and tablet. etc.

I had (and sold) the OTG MM in turtle dove Empreinte and currently have the NF MM in turtle dove Empreinte and black Empreinte. The OTG is a very structured, polished looking bag and is quite beautiful. But I found due to its structure and shape it didn’t sit very comfortably under my arm when worn with the shoulder straps, which is primarily how I carried it. The NF feels more comfortable and less bulky under my arm. If you haven’t tried the NF in Empreinte, it might be worth considering since it has more structure to it vs. the canvas. It isn’t nearly as slouchy, but is still flexible and comfortable. GLD

You may already know this, but you can buy bag organizers that zip at the top. Samorga makes them. Could be a good solution for your NF. :)

I have Onthego GM, Neverfull MM, GM, love all of them, chose Onthego GM because this size just look better on me than the MM and it can go day to work to gym to travel all purpose, pro of Onthego, looks grand, top handles, very structured, draw attention (if you want to draw attention). Downside of Onthego, pricy, heavier than Neverfull, can't be folded flat like Neverfull. Pro of Neverfull, inexpensive compare to many other LV bags, super light weight, tested classic, downside of Neverfull, everyone has one! thinner shoulder strap would be unbearable on the shoulder if carry super heavy stuff.

I would say Neverfull GM holds the most amont of stuff if you need to carry large size items
