if they discontinue this and other popular styles people are talking about, I think LV will be doing something to itself it cannot come back from. if they alienate their own fanbase/consumer base just to "be more" than what they are now, shoppers would have no problem just cutting LV out fully and going the resell route

They do need to ‘reinvent’ themselves to stay classy and exclusive as right now LV is anything but. If they do want to move away from canvas IMO they should create more designs in leather with touch of canvas here and there and instead of giant logos come with ‘discrete’ logo designs. Also they should improve the quality of their empriente leather…it does not give luxurious vibe to me.
