My heart is pounding right now:love: (I haven't had this felling ever since I got married:shame: ). I called DG shop in Paris, they are so extremely nice and helpful. They have a shop in Gallerie Lafayette on level 2 and bag section on level 0 as well as in Printemps. They also have shops on Bld St. Germain, Rue Royale (close to Lafayette) and Passy. You can easily find these address, tel. nos and maps on the French yellow pages www.pagesjaunes.fr. I called my aunt who's shopping in Paris right away, she was just in Lafayette, she saw a Dark Brown one which is what I want but I also want to see what other colours they have, so I will wait. The DG office said they have more colours in the shops, the best one is the one on Bld St Germain.

It is only Euro230 all over Paris (I wonder why it's Euro20 more in Italy).

So how the tan colour put me off although it's a great colour for all season. What to do? Which colour? I wish I see the turquoise!!!!

My aunt was not impressed with the bag though. Well, she's only into big names, I guess she hasn't heard of it before and the bag doesn't scream out as what it is, except bag-fanatics like us, maybe that's why she's not impressed with it. She said it quite big though. I hope she doesn't get the wrong one. There is only one Charlotte 24 hr anyway.

Will report back as which one I've got.

How much is it in London. Which shop is it in Holland they are selling? Do you know if they have shops in Belgium too?

I would take one to see if I like it first in terms of material and lift style. My hubby doesn't think I should buy something that I have never felt with my hand, I told him if I don't like it, I could sell it on ebay. Now, I just need to decide on Tan or dark brown. If I get the dark brown now, I can have an excuse to get a light colour (turquoise) for summer...hahahhaa

My aunt said she could hardly wear it on her shoulder though, she's skinny!

i'm not skinny, and i manage to wear it well in my arm even with a jacket on!!
as far as the leather is concerned, it is of very good quality :amuse:;)

Hi KK,
I phoned one of the numbers davinia posted earlier (thanks for that), they gave me the G D head office number (+33 155 8055 31), they spoke english very well, they then gave me the number for the distributor in Holland who then gave me the names of a few stores here in The Hague. I rang a few of the stores and will be doing the rounds tomorrow.

The H/O will be able to give you the name of a distributor in Belgium.

Do you know they also have violet, grey, light blue. Unfortunately, turquoise is out of stock now, will come back soon though.

Wondering if I should get both and choose one and sell the other on ebay. Unless I decided to keep both. What do you think? Would it sell on ebay?

camel, than, light brown...every country has its own name :D
and even its own prices, considering there is a difference of 20 euros between italy and france :sad::evil:
i saw the violet darel in the shop, but i didn't like it because it had big flowers on it :blink:
i saw only the charlotte 36 in normal violet and grey, and still haven't seen the light blue, it will arrive for the summer.

believe me, it will sell on ebay. i saw them being sold at 200-230 eruos.....a replica darel was sold for 60:blink:

the violet i saw was very dark. but the bag had this big flowers on and it looked as something my granny would wear :suspiciou
