I vote for love)) When I was tired of my Omega and wanted a Rolex instead, I could sell it after having it just 1.5 years for less than 50%. So, if to see it as an investment I think Cartier would be a better choice.

Oh wow, what a great insight, I didn't even know that! I love this little tidbit and almost feels like it really is meant to be :)

I've tried the blue teak a few years ago and a month ago and I must say its even more beautiful to me now. Under different lighting and angle, the dial color looks different. It's a very classy (and classic) as well as sporty piece :)

Not only is the Omega an absolutely gorgeous watch, but its very name alludes to your passions. Aqua (swimming) and Terra ( running and cycling).

I have tried on the black, blue and white dial versions and I can't quite decide which one I love most. I thought I wanted this one, but they are all so beautiful when you try them on. View attachment 3259604

This is a piece I do intend to keep and not meant as an investment...eps knowing that I've wanted an Omega for years. SO my decision will definitely be solely based on how much I will enjoy and get to wear it versus the "investment" aspect of it :)

I would go and try them both on and get whatever sings to you. I have absolutely loved something online and tried it on in store and felt it didn't hold any magic for me. Never felt that way about my love bracelets. However, I wear a Apple watch so take that into account. Good luck!

In this case I would indeed take something I love most, for me the watch would be the first choice and later on the bracelet (that what I did).
I would also wait with the bracelet because around April Cartier launches new removable love bracelets, maybe this would be a better choice vs classic one with your active life style?

Aqua Terra is lovely and it definitely fits your lifestyle. Love is nice but to me paying so much for a piece of metal that doesn't have a function is hard to swallow. Good luck in your decision.

Would u consider the cuff version. As I see u do lots of sport activities. Id be scared the screws would loosen quicker? The cuff also comes in a diamond or a pink sapphire...

Boy this is a really tough decision. I think for your lifestyle I would also choose the Omega. I am a watch person. I got the watch first and the love after for a big milestone. It sounds like you are leaning towards the watch. Ultimately you have to choose the one that sings to you more. Whichever you don't get now, you can always buy down the road!

Vvicky did you hear from a SA about removeable love bracelets in April? I wanted to get mine in the next month but after reading about this, I'm thinking, should I wait?! Hahah could you tell me everything you know? :)

My vote has to be for the Omega watch since it is beautiful and is easy to take on and off when you want since you mentioned that you have an active lifestyle. The Cartier bracelet is so overpriced now and is a pain to take on and off.

Hi! )) Yes, I've heard from my SA around a two month ago, she couldn't give me at that time many details, just said there will be a new bracelets and rings, but no new necklaces. These news were also discussed in the Love bracelet topic, you can check.
Apparently new bracelets will be a bit thinner and removable. Only bare on mind that usually in April Cartier increases their prices, in case you decide to go for 'old' version[emoji6] I suppose at Cartier they have more info now, check better with your SA if it is worth to wait.

the watch or the love CUFF bracelet... i wear my 2 love bracelets 24/7, no sports and one screw loosens occasionally on one of my bracelets because of jarring/ banging.. i imagine 5-6 hours / day is truly russian roulette for the love bracelet.. ( i think there's an old thread here of someone losing theirs while biking).. unless you're willing to check the screws super regularly... but there are people who wear their bracelets only occasionally ....
