Thanks to Honey who knows I am tired about my old setting, although I know he spent thousands on the old setting, but he knows that most importantly; is to re-do a setting that refresh the ring and gives the impression of a brand new one!

SO NOW I HAVE A BRAND NEW RING for my upcoming wedding end of this year!! WOOHOO!!!

He like simplicity so he always adore Solitaires.
While I always prefered finger coverage.
Well, although my finger is super duber small, but do not expect a 1ct Center Solitaire to cover my entire finger. Hence solitaire will not work on me.

He acknowledge that and bring me to SooKee (our Jewelry Retail Chain store here) to pick up 2 new diamonds at 0.3ct H&A each.

Went to a local jeweller together and had it set on a 3-stone setting that we both chose from the internet and had the jeweller custom-made one for us.
Enough said. The photos now~!

Love your new setting- what are the stats of your stone?

Thank you. I have attached pic of the GIA Report with their measurements and carats there, rest I would prefered to be kept secret.

The center stone is much lower color than the 2 side stones.
For this kind of setting the Clarity has to be pretty good due to its sides and profile are pretty much exposed (hence I like it as is unique to have better side stone, as well as being expose the light reflect the diamond even more beautifully).

thats is beautiful, congratulations on having such a sweet fiance, and a gorgeous ring!
Hi there, thanks alot dear. I am not joking when I said it is superb bling IRL~!

That's a very modern look! What's the color of your cushion if you don't mind me asking?

I have a halo now too which I'm turning into a 3-stone (w/ slim baguettes though). I realized that halos are great, but they detract from the main stone so much, to me at least.

Thanks to all lovelies: lily25, ame, howardu09, ahertz, cates, butterfly36029!

Hi missD, perhaps you can PM me instead (What is the color & ct of your main stone, baguette are good choice as side stones~!)? Yes ITA on the halo outshining the main stone effect! Especially if your main stone is not a round brilliant. Fancy cuts already shine much lesser than RB. And tiny RB melees on the halo sparkle even more like mad than normal center RB.

Especially on my previous halo setting, you can see the profile is very detaily done up, very extreme workmanship and of course the cost is expensive. Although it is very nice but it totally covered the main stone. & after some wearing, dust got in (As you can see bottom of the profile is a huge hole for you to see the underneath stone which is where the dust came in from and stuck on the bottom of the diamond) which makes my main stone got very dark = no life.

The main thing I change the setting was because the previous halo setting cannot sit flush with my WB which I hate. I want them to sit flush together.
