I got my new Choos through my SA on Operator, and Operator was giving a promotion for an additional 20% off!! Bergdorfs is on Operator so it was 25% off plus 20% off! Ahh I'm so excited, they arrive this friday! If you're a big shopper you should use Operator. Its a private, invite only, shopping network and they treat their shoppers very well. They give us an additional 20% off all the time (every Tuesday I think). They have pretty much every major store on there, and no merchandise is excluded. Email [email protected] and ask to sign up.

I googled Operator and couldn't find anything. Also, I could not find anything in the general shopping section of the forum. Is Operator a flash sale place lke Gilt or RueLala? Do you have a link to a discussion of this site, or to their website..

Hi, I have a question not sure if this is the place to post.

I purchased a pair of Jimmy Choo flats and they ended being faulty so I had to send them to the HQ in London. They told me I could exchange but I didn't like anything and so I asked for a refund. They got back to me and said they have a no refund policy???
Does anybody know about this?

On the website they appear to allow refunds? I am so confused.

If you buy something from the website, they can refund. But if it is from a Choo boutique, you can only get store credit. Did you buy them from the Jimmy Choo website?

Most brands have similar refund/store credit policies. They were put in place to discourage impulse purchasing and buyer's remorse problems. This is one advantage a department store has - more liberal return policies.

I bought it in store. I'm just annoyed because its not like I changed my mind or anything the shoes were faulty which was super disappointing :(

The store should have a return policy. It's too bad they are not considering exchange knowing that you're going to have that issue. It's like they took your money away and you got nothing but faulty product quality.

Hi everyone. I was going through my closet and found my Ramona handbag and a hobo with the rings around the strap. Are these just to dated to use? Will they ever be considered vintage or just old? TIA Not sure what to do with them.

The Ramona is a classic bag. Is the one with rings around the strap the Saba? Also a classic too. Choo items from the 2005-2009 were made a lot better, too.

I agree! The older leather was so thick and amazing. I will carry my Rikki (smaller version of the Ramona), Maddys and Sabas forever.

Thanks for the input. They are in great shape and I hadn't thought about the quality issue. Older does seem to be better. I just opened a new Chanel today and just can't get over how cheap it looks. If I had not bought it at NM I would think it was a knockoff. Ramona and Saba will stay put. ;)

So glad to hear you say that! I agree, Chanel has really gone down hill. I just had to have a Boy and it is the worst bag I own...hard to get into, the clasp lock has to be fiddled with and it is lined in some kind of material??? I'll take my older Choos and Chanel's any day.

I didn't want to say it but right now older is better and less expensive. I just got the summer blue GST and can't get over how bad it looks. I'm going to think on it over night and probably take it back after being on the waiting list so long. I wanted a boy also but passed earlier and I just couldn't see giving them $6000 + for a large.

I can't believe the great deals I am finding on ebay for older Choo bags! Luckily I still love the Maddy, and Rikki and remember when these were selling used for almost the price of a new Choo. The quality is better on the older bags so I have snagged a couple of them for a song! Yipeeeeeee :)
