I don't want to get rid of my bags, but I can tell you that their decision to go younger and downmarket has affected my interest level. My SA has been calling me and calling me -- there's going to be a sale on Fall 09 tonight -- and finally I came in to look even though I KNOW there's nothing I like. I told him I thought Fall was pretty poor in the design department.

The PEP scarf was one thing -- I think it's a great scarf and I like the cause. But some of these decisions, I think, are alienating the women who do buy Choo regularly. Look, fact is that it's (usually) women in their 30s and above who purchase the expensive lines. If you don't keep them happy you're going to regret it. Because someone WILL come along that will seduce your "richer" customers. I find myself gravitating more towards YSL and BV as Choo puts out this...stuff...

BV makes great leathers. I get high in that store! lol :sneaky:

I agree with most of you about the latest Choo offerings, I don't really consider H&M to be Jimmy Choo. The thing is, I keep trying other designers and I, personally am just not happy with either the quality or the styles. BV is too conservative, Prada quality just is not up there, ditto Chanel on quality and the fact that there are sooo many fakes. I have tried MJ, Chloe and Balenciaga and I keep coming back to Choo. To tell you the truth, I don't need new bags every season. I want them, but I don't need them. These high end bags are made to last! So I will stay with Choo and be pretty happy with what I have right now.

the line is not permanent

I am new here but I do have opinions, and I'm wondering if anyone else thinks that Choo for H&M does not belong in this forum?

This is a subject that does belong, but we must strive to be respectful. There is a great divide between the members, and it has gotten quite heated in the past. I think it is time to move on to another subject.

There are already two threads about the H&M. one in the Glass Slipper and the other in Wardrobe.

But how come there isn't any information about Jimmy Choo shoes/boots in this forum? I got my eye on the Jessie (black patent leather knee boot) and the Orchid <----are the toes tooo pointy?

oh, Hi by the way.

I am a Jimmy Choo newbie and have one pair of boots and two JC sandals. LOL I really like their shoes, they are very classy. Its nice to get away from the constant platforms and stripper shoes the other brands like to release sometimes.

Jahpson - we do have a spot for shoes in the reference library. When styles are introduced, they tend to get lumped into the seasonal threads. However when the Yeva and Yang boots came out a couple of years ago, forum members couldn't stop talking about them.

This makes me feel on :cloud9:
