Agree! I will say it's easier to get into than the Nomad, IMO, because of the true magnetic closure vs a snap.
Also, IMO, I saw several in store & none hung nicely. I know that could change over time but it turned out not to be a bag for me.
The reason I never got a Nomad was because every one I saw didn't slouch perfectly in the middle. They were all off-center, which I think is due to the magnetic snap closure as opposed to a zipper. I have a purse now that just a snap and it also doesn't slouch evenly.

I like the overall shape of the Bedford but it looks massive! At least on the model, anyway. I have a new duffle I’ve been obsessed with so I don’t mind “giant black hole” bags, but the magnet concerns me especially when it’s so open. I’d feel more secure with a zipper.

Never got the chance to sneak over to my store to check out the dreamers this weekend. Perhaps later this week. I’d like to see the new hobo in person but it’s probably a pass for me.

I had a few first release Nomads & they were all SNAP MAGNET closures. The Bedford is a magnet smoothly covered with leather. No snap.

Ah, I see what you're saying now. Personally I do like the snap magnetic closure, just because it's quite strong on the Nomad's. The soft boroughs and LV Gracefuls have smooth magnetic closure covered with leather, and those were never hardy enough to keep the bag shut.

Looking forward to seeing this Bedford . I have always liked the leather on the 1941 bags but until now, nothing has had potential to work for me. This bag reminds me of the NoMad and the LV Delightful - two styles I really like. I don't mind that it is "plain" bc I have my Dark Fairy Tale Spooky Eyes Market Tote for excitement .. LOL! It looks to be slightly bigger than a Market Tote which is perfect for all the crap I carry. If it does work, then my only problem is getting past the $750 price tag ...
