A Coach SA saw that I’d mentioned Basquiat on a Coach ad on Instagram in March (how...?! lol) and was kind enough to send me some photos of the collection today. The last 3 are screenshots of a vid she sent me; sorry that they are a bit blurry!
I like the shape of the first two. I wonder if they also made that style with the cityscape print.
What is guagua supposed to mean?
Did they not intend to put this line online? My store had quite a few pieces but I don't see anything online. I already picked up a piece and I don't see picking up anything more, but I just didn't know whether there was a date when everything would be shown online.
Their ad on Facebook says it arrives tomorrow. We are also supposed to get info on the PCE tomorrow, which I'm sure will exclude all newness....
Ohhhh...let me know what you hear. I'm sure Cashin will be excluded but you never know. I haven't unwrapped them yet to play around or use. I was disappointed to see they weren't considered 1941 pieces.
I know, I'm torn if I should order today with the TAKE10 10% along with cashback site @ 13% or wait. I also don't know which color I want. I'm leaning towards one in pebbled leather, but really like that green one too!
I thought I saw the 1941 stamp on these? I wonder if they are another hybrid like some of the other Originals that have the glovetanned leather, but regular dustbags?
I'll look for the stamp. Assumed Coach NY due to the dustbag & leather only Coach tag.
From what i understand they are VERY limited in their Basquiat collection. My favorite design of his is PEZ Dispenser (the t. rex with the crown). I wish it was included on more bags (i would have LOVED a bum bag with that design). I was able to score the Pez dispenser bag charm by calling my SA and doing a pre order. I'm not sure when it will arrive, however he said that was the most limited piece of all

I like their shape too, but I’m not too fond of smooth leather. I prefer pebbled because I don’t have to worry about scratches. I’ve already bought and sold 2 Rogues (the shape isn’t really my style) so I guess I might sit this collection out...
P.S. no idea what the wordage means, lol!
