Maybe that will be addressed in the new book.

What a horrible dress to wear when you’re on crutches. She’s not going to heal if she’s trips over all that hanging fabric and ends up on the floor. There are times when fashion has to take a backseat. Your health should always be your priority.
Not to mention the 4” heels. I mean, put on a platform wedge. What kind of lower body injury can you have if you’re still wearing So Kates (or whatever those are).

It's better to look good than to feel good. Thank you, Billy Crystal.....

I wonder what specifically she broke? I broke my ankle 2 summers ago, and it was far more traumatic than either me or my DH realized it would be. I had "tightrope" surgery and was out of commission for about 3 months, followed by comprehensive PT. I wasn't dancing again for a year, it was horrific!
That sounds awful! Would you say you're back to normal now?

Regarding VB's injury, I haven't seen anything super specific beyond it being her foot, which obviously has a gazillion little bones. If something in her foot or ankle is broken, I can't imagine wearing pointy stilettos is part of the recommended path to recovery.

Yes, finally! But even a year later I struggled. We went to a couple of big golf tournaments (Waste Management and The Colonial) and even in sneakers I struggled walking the small berms and hills. I'm now scared to death of breaking the other one in heels or platforms!

25 years really is an accomplishment. I think both of them but especially David are good people. Early last month, David flew into a small airport in western Sweden to spend the day with the former England coach who has terminal cancer. I don't think this made the news outside of Sweden and it's not something he did to look good. It seems to have been about paying his respects and saying goodbye while Mr. Eriksson was still well enough to receive visitors.
