Yes - long enough for shoulder carry. Lemme see if I can find a pic from the weekend. She used as a carry-on stuffed full and then as her day bag, sans travel stuff.

ETA...Nope - sorry I didn't snap any.

Thanks ladies :)

The handles are long enough to carry on the shoulders. It was a teeny bit snug with a coat on but totally do-able.

What I love most is that it's so light to carry!

1. I love my Victoria. Like a squishy big clemence marshmallow. OK, that is the WORST description I have even given of a bag... But it is a fabulous piece for day and for travel. Don't know how she did it, but one day in Paris, just after buying mine, I spotted a woman carrying hers. It was white, but her luggage tag and accessories were in orange. Incredibly cute. I do not know if she had two Victorias and exchanged accessories, or special ordered something.

2. The shoulder question. I have never felt comfortable carrying this over the shoulder. With another inch or two on the stap drop, maybe. It always seems just a tiny bit too snug. Maybe I just have fat shoulders...

I think the key to carrying it comfortably on the shoulders is not to overstuff the bag.
Because the depth of this bag is pretty wide if you fill it up to the top your arm will be propped up. I guess you can always swing the bag behind you too.

Are these always in Clemence? I love the look of the Victoria, but am not that keen on Clemence due to the slouch and because it seems like any other regular leather to me. Has anyone ever seen a non-Clemence Victoria?

They always come in clemence, Graciella. I too don't like slouchy bags preferring box for most of my birkins & kellys but the style of a Victoria dictates use of a clemence-like leather. Try one on at the store & you may be like me . . . fond of the Victoria.

I was confued between Plum and Victoria till now. I have to say I love Victoria [thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures] more than Plum simply because Victoria is made of clemence, is soft, slouchy, no metal and can be carried on the shoulder !
