This is how i did it - found a belt whose leather has a similar color to my Trim’s but with a texture contrast and looped it like so... (photos below). I suppose one can have the longer end of the belt trimmed off by a leather craftsperson too if they’d like but I just didn’t have the time.

@buttonmushroom thanks for sharing the links above too - I didn’t realize that there were older models with extenders. Would’ve been great to have those
Thanks for the great idea. I finally found the right belt (braided, blue, 3/4 inch thick) to do the same with my Box Indigo Trim 38!

Just found this Clubhouse. I’m so loyal to my two Trims and would add more if the right bags come along. I’m delighted to have a group of afficionados to share my pics and thoughts with. Thank you All!

First up ... the fraternal twins together:

Black Clemence Trim 2
IMHO the Trim in Clemence leather is one of the best hobos ever created due to its perfect slouch. It’s true love for me. Here’s are two shots ... first an artsy, outdoorsy, slouchy shot from a few years ago. I love to take bag pics on stumps and fences...the leather really stands out. And a modest mod shot:

Red Togo Trim 2: She is a beautiful color red, a true red; can’t say she’s on the blue side nor the orange side yet she can look that way in different light. My problem is that the Togo leather strap slips off certain fabrics and the bag can quickly slide right down my arm until I lunge for it. This limits my wear during the winter with puffer coats, and with many blouses in the warm weather. She needs cotton or wool to stay put, thus I often have to pass on her. Beauty has its price ... once again.

I wore this bag yesterday and here she is waiting for the elevator in my urban life. And one more slouch pic.
