GG,

I know that Trim II 35cm in Evergrain retails for $4,750 at this time (!!!).
I will need to find a receipt for Barenia/Toile II 31, I remember it was more or less $3,500, when I bought it like a year ago.

You are very naughty to start this thread GG - now you get us all going!!
Thank you Katel, latigresse and Tangle for posting all these mouthwatering pics - you are just as bad as GG!!!!

Thank you GG for another Great Thread !

My trim is black evergrain with palladium Hdw. It is the Trim Anate. 31 cm flat and no zip, but :

X-Long strap, long fringes....

I love it:heart:

thanks guys for posting the trim

do you know how much a trim II in a 31 and 35cm might in like clemance or box or something like that? just about?

thanks! got my juices going

thinking about a chocolate Trimm II in clemance or togo with gold
Last year a Trim 11 Clemence 31cm (with zipper and gusset) was 3700.00US before tax.
The Trim is a wonderful bag! And was one of my first Hermes bags ever :o)
You will love it!

my SA said a 35cm TRIM II in clemance is about $4,100...and in chevre would be about $4,500

doesn't that seem reasonable. HAHAAH.

esp since a 23cm MM Constance is $8,400...same price as a 35cm birkin.

GG,

My favorite yoga teacher likes to use the expression "to be aware" or "not to be aware".
I got to like it, it expresses so well the certain feelings..
The Constance is, IMHO, the bag for Hermes lovers who "are aware".
I kind of understand the price level, since the Constance has such a high amount of craftsmanship involved, it justifies the cost of such a not large bag.
I love your Constance and specially liked the combination of your youth and beauty and spirit with such an old classic. Just fabulous!
In regards to the Trim, I would recommend the 35cm one only in soft, slouchy leather.
I've tried a lot of them and even bought one in Barenia/Toile. It was a mistake, since it was too WIDE for my frame, kind of refused to hug my body. However, in the 31cm any leather will be perfect.
I hope to find one fabulous soft and slouchy Trim in 35. I think at this time the only options are Clemence or Evergrain. As I understood, it does not come in Swift (what I think would be just perfect leather for this style)

Good luck in your quest for the perfect Trim!

I went to my H store today with the express intent of looking at Trims and Bolides. Tried on 31, 35 and 38 Trims, and found the 35 the best size for me (I'm 5' 5"). Saw them in chartreuse, blue jean, rose dragee and havanne. All had PH and all were clemence. I wasn't crazy for any of those colors (though they were all beautiful, esp the blue jean). I'd want GH, since whatever color I choose (provided it can be found for me) will probably be a warm color.

Trim II 35 clemence is $4300; Trim II 38 clemence is $4700.

I can see one in etoupe. Or raisin. Or vert olive. Or ebene or biscuit! I think this will be my next bag!

Here's my Trim I, 31cm, toile/barenia, which I obtained from a tPF goddess (still so grateful!). Usually have my pegasus candena on it, which I think makes it perfect.

So beautiful:love:!

I was just coming to start an "Ode to Trim" thread, but I see one just got started!

Everyone is so ga-ga over Birkins and Kellys that our poor Trims get lost in the background. I agree: it's about time Trims had their day. :yahoo:

I don't have any modeling shots, but here's my 35 Trim II Clemence Rouge H wearing her pink Carpe Diem gavroche. That's my fur baby, Gracie's nose checking her out. :tender:

I'm totally smitten with this bag. Oh, I still want a Birkin, but Trims are so understated, easy to use and, especially on the secondary market, very "reasonable" for an Hermes bag.

I expect I'll end up with another some day. I've still got a Blue Jean itch I need to scratch. :graucho:
