I have a question for everyone here---is it possible to have too many black background multicolored H GM shawls? I just purchased a circa 2004 black background pierres d' orient GM and am wondering if this is overload---this is in addition to my black Brazil, black marwari, black ex-libris (OK, maybe this is a different category...). what do you all think???
In my book, you can never have too many black GMs. All of your shawls are very different so no, I do not think the black POO is overload. But of course you are preaching to the choir here. I love the way the black background "pops" the design. The black POO is a beautiful classic- it absolutely can be dressed up or down and it will never go out of style. Some of the larger designs are a slightly bit more casual and hip, IMO at least. I almost always buy the black cw of a new issue.

Thanks toujours*chic! I have to say, however, that my black bordered plumes shawl is probably my absolute favorite, though, thanks to you!:heart::heart:

I've seen things sell out in a matter of hours. When I made my last purchase via the website, the scarf lasted about another two hours, and the Twilly was gone when I checked back less than 30 minutes later. Neither has been seen on there since so when they go, they can go super fast.

AWWWWW. I was dying to go home and check out the Carre & Carre, but I can't find it now. Could it have been sold out already????

I'm so excited, I just added another Early America in black/rouge :yahoo:gorgeous colors!!

Here is the other black EA- earlier release. I also found the bubble gum pink EA that was issued at the same time while I was thrashing about in my GM cash stash.

Kipp - What a wonderful collection! Personally, I say go for it! After all, black is classic, and adding the different patterns and colours mixed in by the shawl choices just gives you many more options! Actually, you are being quite practical! :graucho:
