I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I love the orange because.....well, it's orange .... and I love wearing orange. Also, I love that it has so many colors in it.
I have the Petrole but it's on *bay right now because I just never wore it. I tend to gravitate to my shawls that have orange or green or purple in them, for some reason. It's hard for me to advise because everyone does have their own preferences. For example, you like subdued and neutrals whereas that is the opposite of me!
Is anyone looking for the Marwari shawl in black, petrole, or rose indienne? I saw these three today at Mitchell's in Westport (203) 227-5165, open today until 6, will ship.

XX - don't even worry about it. I speak french fluently and when i go to H BH and ask for something, particularly a scarf, using the correct pronunciation they look at ME funny. Then i have to repeat myself using the more american pronunciation....
Well, I have changed my mind!!! Here is what happened. I received the orange Voyage en Etoffes today and it is very similar to the coloration in the Marwari. The Voyage totally has my heart and if I am going to have two of the same design/color, it will have to be that one. I wish I had the budget to have two of both but I don't. And really the colorways are so similar it would be a bit overkill.
I love the contrasting hem on the Voyage. I'm not sure I recall seeing a contrasting hem on a shawl before. None of my others have it.
