Thank you so much, dear Sammy!

This is absolutely gorgeous on you ... congratulations! I love esp. the hints of light blue and the yellow border.
Thank you so much, my dear friend! ❤️
Wait, if I remember Agrume is your twin?
Thank you! During my search I found the wonderful blue one posted by dear @Agrume only… I thought I remember dear @lanit posting CW 07 but couldn’t find pix either…
Here is mine ... but yours is top!

One day I shall become your sister with a Sieste shawl-- in the meantime I will continue to enjoy your beauties @Croisette7!

On mine, too! I love the beautiful freedom of this artistry. While I was waiting for the csgm I acquired this adorable Pirouette losange in a perfect red...eager to see what next season brings...

Ah, Sammy you are the proof that happiness is the best accessory-- you look radiant in your new cw! Congratulations on finding your prize. Your other one is elegantly beautiful on you also but this one has accents that glow... the light blue and the lovely gold.

This is just gorgeous-- a beautiful shawl and each one is unique with the variations-- as always you have the perfect arm candy to go with dear @Croisette7!
Thank very much for your lovely compliments! - Your red losange is gorgeous!!

Oops meant 140cm. I would definitely want the long side to be hand stitched to match the shorter sides but didn't know if H would be willing to do it.
Hi - I know this is months after you asked about having H cut one of your CSGMs in half and hand sewing the side that becomes the “new” hem. Just wanted to share my experience. I have a beautiful LaRosee (or Dew) CSGM that has a beautiful aqua background color with mostly pink/white roses. But then for no apparent reason, someone decided to put a 2 to 3 inch border all the way around it. The border is what I would call an olive green color, which looks terrible on me, to put it mildly! I took it in to talk to my SA and she had the after sales guy come out to talk about it. Alas, H will not do anything that changers their original design. They would, however re-hem the border if I mysteriously got a big slash in it - that would be a repair so ok. I have had this beautiful shawl for years, but haven’t worn it because of that darned green! I am afraid that if I slashed it to force a repair, I would be oh so politely advised that I misunderstood and then I would have damaged a beautiful shawl for nothing…

TLDR - no, H won’t undertake a repair that alters the original design of the piece.

Wish I had better news!

Thank you and no problem with late replies at all! :) In case anyone was curious, I was considering altering the TohuBohu CSGM's that I have in 2 CWs. They just make me too hot and uncomfortable but I think less material, less heat?
