This lovely vintage 90 CM silk cashmere was my retail therapy after my mom died two weeks ago. USPS delivered it... I got the delivery confirmation and it wasn’t my signature and I was afraid it was gone.

Thanks to the magic of GPS and @BeenBurned guidance on asking the local Usps where they delivered.... package was at a similar street 1/2 a mile away so my dad and I went off on an adventure and here she is!

I think this is from the 1990s. Anyone know the year? I have loved this design for a long time and happy to have it in my collection and now a memory in honor of my mom and an adventure with my dad.

thank you nymeria. My mom was sick for a long time and I didn’t know whether to pray for a quick end or a prolonged one so she would stay with us.

She left my sister and I some small bits of jewelry that are very much 1990s style channel set pieces. Not my thing normally but I wear different pieces to sleep at night so my dad doesn’t see and grieve more. It makes me feel better and now I have the shawl too.
