Cashmere silk 140cm are so handsome on men
Very dapper
I think they can be tied any way in men and still look good

Thank you for posting this pic TT!! I like to have styling lessons with my DH and this was a great inspiration pic. I sent this pic along to my DH and showed him how he has all the pieces to make a handsome outfit like this one! (BTW, he loves looking stylish and is inspired by the way European men dress, having lived abroad on several occasions)

He is very good at letting me dress him, but left to his own devices....he's always just a bit unsure. Especially with scarves + tying them. Growing up in a small town in the Midwest didn't allow for much "practice". Lol!

StyleEyes, you look very nice! Would you please share how did you tie it so beautiful? TIA!

Thank you!! Oh gosh, that's a hard one to explain!! I start out with a cowboy, then go into...ugh, I can't remember it's name, but I believe the beautiful IF uses this one a lot...then finish the "tails" like a necktie (or a windsor knot). I know that's not helpful at all [emoji849][emoji38]

It looks wonderful with your Sunday outfit!

Thank you doll! [emoji4]

Amazing! This looks so casual chic!

Thank you hopiko!! Very cozy for a crisp fall day and a lazy afternoon! [emoji41]

I think it matched perfectly with your flannel shirt! Btw, what is that round H box in front of the mirror for? It's so cute!

Thank you autumnbubble!! The box holds my first and only plisse. The box is pretty beaten up, but the scarf inside is in perfect shape! I love the box as well!! [emoji175]

Here's a couple of pics!

Hi everyone, I'm still thinking about purchasing my first cashmere shawl. Can anyone who owns a 50/50% blend comment on how they compare to the 65/35% blend? I'm told year of issue can be a deciding factor in how the cashmere feels and holds up, but that might be something I have to leave up to chance. Any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated, as always.

GLX, Can't remember a time when H produced 50/50 CSGMS, they most recently went from a 65/35 to a 70/30 blend.
Personally, I prefer the 70/30 blend much better and they seem more durable. For a few years I gave up on the 65/35 blend because of the light weight, pulls, snagging and pilling over a relatively short period of time. The new 70/30 blend feels a little thicker to me and I personally prefer these now and have gone back to buying them.

Ladies, does anyone remember a 50/50 CSGM blend and would love to know what year they were produced.

As a collector I've never heard of a 50/50 mix.

I very very much appreciate people chiming in about that. I almost bid, but after doing some comparisons realized the situation before I made a costly mistake:

Not only the size, did you realize the wrong copyright too? Be careful in the future!
