For those interested in the Galop range, there is also a pendant. I haven't seen this piece in real life so I am not sure of the size of the horse's head. Here is a picture from (UK) h.com.

I am excited as I was able to purchase a Galop (small size) from the bay. I went into the city the other day and they told me that they were only getting the larger size which is AU$5590 so totally out of my price range so I am happy that the bracelet is on its way to me.

Congrats, Suzie! Wow, the mark-up in Oz is breath-taking.

Yay!!!! Major congrats--you will love it!!! Can't wait for you to receive it!:D

Advice, please! I'm really wanting either the GM necklace or the PM bracelet. I tried both on and loved them! I'm slightly more in love with the necklace, but have all these new 140cm shawls, mousselines, and silks that won't work as well with the necklace....whereas the bracelet would be super easy to stack. What should I do? Get the bracelet, right? I do love both! Or is there some easy way to wear the silks with a long Galop necklace that I'm not aware of?

Does any one have dimensions of the Galop TGM bracelet, specifically the Horse head area? How does it compare in size to the all silver CDC?

I was planning to get this, however justified the rose gold CDC instead. My reasons not to purchase the Galop was- size, not a undying horse lover, and cost per use. However, wouldn't you know like 2 secs after buying the rose gold CDC - a Galop becomes available  That horse is taunting me.....and keeps taunting.......

There are pictures a few pages back of the gorgeous carlinha wearing hers, she may be able to help you if you shoot her a PM. I know she also has an all silver CDC so she may be able to take comparison pics for you.

I have a pretty large collection of silks, but chose the GM necklace because it is stunning on its own. I don't wear my silks in the summer, and not necessarily everyday. I do think certain stoles or GMs will work with the Galop if draped across the shoulders on a LBD or sleeveless top. The bracelet did not work for me as I work a lot on the computer during the day. They are both beautiful pieces, so I'd think it would depend upon what you will be most pleased with wearing.

Do you wear shawls and scarves all year round? I am not sure what part of the world you are from. If you wear a scarf every day you may not get the opportunity to show off the necklace but if you alternate I am sure you will get a lot of use out of the necklace.

hi purselover!
I have the GM necklace and love it because I don't wear silks and shawls every day. When it rains, it is nice to have an alternative, and I like the sleek modern look of the piece paired with a simple sheath dress or top. You can, however, wear it with a silk or shawl if you leave the textile draped over the shoulder as opposed to tying it. I haven't done this yet, but in my mind, I can picture this looking really nice.
Hope this helps! (By the way, I first tried on the PM bracelet and almost bought that instead of the necklace, but since I have been on a bracelet spending spree lately, I felt that the necklace would be something different in my collection. Love both and for you, you should buy what tugs on your heart the most? :smile1:)

Thank you for all the lovely and thoughtful replies! It is a really great idea to wear the shawls and silks draped over the shoulder! I haven't done that at all because I am so new to silks but have fallen so hard for them! Hence the overwhelming desire to wear them AND the necklace everyday :p

Well, I still can't decide between the two....I do love both but don't want to OD on horsey heads. (Although I'll probably end up getting both anyway....)

Thank you so much! I do think the necklace is sooo sleek and modern! It is very surprising given I always think of silver as so dangly or bangly :p

I'm in the Northeast. I'm still new to silks but tumbling down the orange slippery slope very fast, so I don't yet know what silks if any I will be wearing this summer. I sure hope I'll be wearing them, though...given how many I've purchased recently.

Thank you, Lanit! I looove all the photos of your extensive collection! You have been an amazing source of inspiration for silks and silver! Thanks!!
