OMG LadyB - I am swooning over this necklace! I missed the name of it? I have just handed over a photo to DH for my next wishlist item! Love it on you -congrats and simply sublime ! Your dress is perfection too! Now running to the other thread to ogle the horn pieces! So it is called the Galop GM necklace?

Thank you, lanit! I am not sure if this is called "GM" Galop, or just Galop. I think the GM and PM only refer to the bracelet? I bought the necklace at my boutique after going to NYC and trying it on at the Wall Street store. (Box is really long, hard to travel with, and I wanted to buy it from my regular SA back home.) Sweet Emanuel at Wall Street thought that it came in a smaller size, too but I never saw it. Don't know if it had come in yet. This necklace would look amazing on you, so I hope you will join (or Galop with :p) me.
Btw, I didn't leave Wall Street empty handed....got a belt kit: blue hydra/crocus
my first!!! Buckle looks like Chain d'Ancre in PHW. Now, I am obsessing about belts!

beautiful on you BBF!!!! i can't wait to see this piece IRL! i hope it will work out for me!

congrats babe! i am so glad the PM size worked out as i know the GM size did not work for you! i agree though, the PM size is CRAZY HARD to get on and off, that's part of the reason i didn't go for that because i don't think i can get it on/off by myself :p can't wait to see modeling pics!

hunny i definitely am NOT out of your silver league... you were a big inspiration for the silver CDC for me! please post your new silver piece!!!

oh duna, i hope you can try both pieces on for comparison! i initially saw and tried on the PM but the solid bangle part of it did not fit me well at all.. the GM is perfect for me, the torsade is a work of art... although keep in mind i do love big chunky pieces, the CDCs being my deepest loves... let us know what you decide!

this is stunning on you my dear, and your top is beautiful as well!

Thank you, carlinha! Your beautiful GM Galop bracelet got us all giddy!! (Giddy-up I should say.) :D

Hi My Hermes Friends! With all of the excellent buzz and beautiful pics of Galop Jewelry, I thought I would share my necklace with you! Thanks for letting me share and thank you for all of your great pictures of silver goodies!

This is simply divine, Ladybaga. A forever piece and perhaps the most glorious H necklace I've seen!

Thank you so much arabesques! I gifted this to myself as an early bday present! I told myself and promised DH that I would wait until April to wear it, but as you can see, that didn't last! I am usually good on keeping promises but when it comes to Hermes, I am too excited to wait. I was at an arts festival this morning hoping to see you here! (Bayou Arts in Houston) Saw some lovely photography, but none compared to your amazing work! :smile1: Hope you are doing well!

etoile, Thank you!! I completely understand about the trance that Galop has put us under! :cray: The GM and PM bracelets are what got me so crazed about this design. I feel like I have become the bracelet queen lately, so I decided on the necklace so that I wouldn't abandon all of my other bracelets in favor of the Galop one. However.....I could get the bracelet to match the necklace....STOP ME PLEASE!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGG!:D

Look elsewhere for help! ;) I'll just be looking the other way , or offering encouragement! :D

Thank you bluebichonfrise! Did you hear if this necklace also comes in a shorter version? I was told that but have yet to see it. I love the bracelet and ring, too! I tried on the PM bracelet but worried that I would bang it around too much. The ring is spectacular but I am sure that my fingers would be too fat for it. Overall, I am very excited about this design! So sleek and modern.

It's just stunning on you!!!:D

Yes, I do know that it comes in a shorter version. I have kind of been delaying on this as I'm waiting to see the shorter version IRL. I have the 160 Farandole so I was thinking maybe the shorter would be good. Are you able to double it and make it a shorter piece? If so then I will probably just proceed with the longer of the two.

As for the bracelet, I got the PM in the smallest size. The key with the bangle for me as I did try on both the SH and ST was to go more snug in terms of fit. With the standard, there was just too much movement and therefore it wouldn't be stackable as the movement would damage not only the bracelet but also other pieces, so I defintely know what you mean. It's by no means tight, just not moving all the way up and down my arm. lol!

The ring, I think anyone can wear and I'm sure it would look amazing on you!!!!!!

Get the whole set!! LOL!!

How I'd love to be somewhere fun like Houston right now, but we're put until mid/late April—and then heading north to where there will likely be snow! But—such treks are putting me in walking distance of Chi H, and I just cannot wait! I wonder if this piece will be there to try. Or more horn pendants. LOL.

This piece is just to delicious to wait on, birthday or no birthday, promise or no promise! :D

The GM necklace cannot be shortened, but I love the long version of it. My farandole and confetti necklaces can be tripled, so I decided that if I need a shorter necklace, I will wear those.

I do remember now that you got the PM bracelet! That is such a pretty one and fits perfectly! That was actually the first piece of Galop that I tried on. Love it but can't make the leap to get the whole set. (As tempting as it seems.;)) So many beautiful H items out there! I sometimes wish they would stop making so many pretty things. (Well, no.... not really. :smile1:) Good luck in your decision for the necklace. I would love for someone to model the shorter necklace. As a matter of fact, I think Cayenne Pepper just revealed one on her thread. Maybe she will show us how she wears it.

YAY! A field trip to H!!! Sending you many orange kisses and wishes that your silver and horn/lacquer dreams come true! :hugs: Stay warm!

I Finally got the PM Galop bracelet--I LOVE it although I find it very difficult to get on and off. In my opinion, much more of a challenge than the SS CDC which I found difficult to remove at first...obviously that didn't stop me as I purchased anyway. Here he is still wearing his protective plastic :D

I had to come back and admire your bracelet! Really gorgeous and most definitely a classic! :smile1:
