Ode to Silver

Finally added another horsey to the Gallop stable (how may years did it take me? OMG - clues in this thread). Luckily enough it seems to have become a classic and hence still available.

Also tried the men's Sombrero leather and silver touareg bracelet which was very nice too but I worry about whether the fastening hole will get too large over time.

Here's my new French horse enjoying an Italian meal:

Thank you DR
I must admit I tried it a few times in the past too. I'd known 100% I wanted the GM ring and have worn it so much but bracelets generally I wear less, anyway not this time, I'm wearing it again today. :D.

I think I must be between sizes. The one that sits nicely on my wrist is painfully small to put on, and the bigger size flops around. So I have never pulled the trigger, although I really love it!

Thanks so much, so pleased with it.

Really like the opening/closing mechanism on this one too: Mane up, nose up, open; nose down, mane down, secure. So satisfying. Hate fiddly bracelets (looking at a certain company beginning with the letter 'T' grrr)..

Ita coz I have this too haha

Me three - it’s such a favorite - and so sleek and chunky at once. Congrats.

Such a pity, but you're right it must fit. I was given the M (next size up) at one point, seemed such a large difference and unlike some bangles that would just hang over the had this would be impossible and uncomfortable twirling.

Yeah, you'd have to stack it and that might eliminate the floppiness. I wonder if silversmiths can put some silver on a couple parts of the bangle, top and bottom to extend it? Maybe not b/c the bangle may be a cast piece but I bet there are wizards in silverwork that could fix it.

When this happens in rings and I don't feel like springing for sizing immediately, I have the jeweler put on a ring guard to tighten the ring. Or, as a permanent fix, I have the jeweler insert a small piece of gold or silver that thickens the shank at the bottom and so tightens it around the finger. The bracelet is silver, right? I double Paris would do it but you could take it to a local jeweler. IMO this works well in rings and I don't see why it couldn't work in a bracelet, a narrow bangle.

I'm going to try it again this season since I've lost 15 lbs in the past year and a half - maybe my wrist is a touch smaller too?? Anyway going to try!
