Ode to Silver

Agree, they must drug the air with something apart from the Hermessence! I lose my head completely especially in FSH. I can't think rationally, I just want to throw my credit card(s) at my SA and hug him when the boxes come out.

Agreed!

I never feel the same at the local supermarket no matter what they (pretend to) bake or spray in the air :p

Basically it means "wrapped" like binding i.e. the silver band is wrapped around the bracelet to keep the silver beneath in place. Obvious a fanciful description.. In French it means: fil passé au bord d'un tissu pour l'empêcher de s'effilocher as it relates to fashion.

This is what is so great about tPF, the resourceful folks here always have a way to help others find the answer to a question. What were the odds of another person here having the pictures of your bracelet collection given to them by their SA?:smile1:
Brilliant! Thank you so much, gracekelly. Yes, this Forum has been incredibly helpful in filling in the (many) gaps in my H knowledge and I am very grateful for it.

Now I'd like to know what 'Surfil' means...google translate is no help. I know from my schoolgirl french that sur means on and fil is wire. On a wire?

I'd reverse it: wire is on [bracelet]. It's applied to the bracelet or ring, whatever.

Actually, your schoolgirl French is better than my schoolgirl French. I was looking at the name and didn't break it down the way you did. Now I'll probably never forget what this design is called.

Lately I am into H silver and necklaces. Here r my tiny collection of three.
For over a year I couldn't figured out which length of Farandole to get. Finally I was persuaded by my SA to commit to 160. Couldn't be happier with the decision.

This is MM galop. It sits nice at lower neck.

Not a tiny collection of necklaces compared to me. All my H silver pieces are so far for fingers and ears :D
