Wow... I don't know how I missed this post, but that is amazing. How does it go on? Is it hinged or a bangle type? How heavy is it? It is beautiful.

Hi Junkenpo, the cuff is hinged: the hinges are quite stiff actually (I guess because it's new) and so there's no danger of it coming off. I weighed it the other day and it weighed about 285g so yes, it isn't light!

Well... while I think about how to photograph my small collection together, here's my latest acquisition: an Alea necklace modeled by my DS.

It's a choker on me, but I think it looks fabulous on him, too. He kept it on for 3 minutes while I tried to get a picture in focus before he went to pull it off. My DH laughed.

This necklace casual yet gorgeous with tshirts, very rock n' roll feeling. I haven't tried dressing it up though... it's such a substantial piece I'm not sure what to try pairing it with.

Am I alone in liking my silver pieces all beat up? I deliberately kept my silver KD in the bathroom to see if the humidity would put some "patina" on her. She's been scratched some with use and I like her that way.

no you are not alone.....i find H looks better and better worn and used over time!

I totally agree, Plumtree, I think the patina and little scratches add character and make the pieces look well loved!!

awww , my heart will break when i see my silver scratched . i still love it all shiny and new
