SO funny to see Gollum's face on this thread! Joannadyne nailed it with how I feel about this scarf. I didn't own a single Hermes scarf before this past December...now I have a bunch...4 of them are Samourais. Am having thoughts about getting another in a color I know won't look good on me. What happened?

I have descended into full-on Samourai madness. I have never gone beyond duplicates, but just picked up cw 8, making it THREE Samourais for me this season.
My wallet is now safe as no other cw appeal to me. WHEW!

I think that to contract the fever it needs the right design and a brief time window of receptivity plus some savings and no DH or DS to discourage further purchases[emoji23]. Next year we'll all move on ♀️
I attended the collection's debut event in Dallas last night. It was really nice and well-attended. They had all of the colorways except one. Luckily they had the one I wanted so I purchased CW 8. I wasn't able to stay long because I had a concert to attend but I enjoyed it. Now to figure out how to best tie my first Hermes scarf.

I totally forgot to take pics. But it was a cocktail party at the boutique with champagne/wine and passed hors d'oeuvres. The owner of the samurai armor collection that inspired the scarves was there. My friend heard that Laura Bush was there but I don't think that was her. Lol!
