Ode to Kelly Sellier Mini (Kelly Mini II)

Ladies need some insight from you please. Have been offered a mini kelly in lisse croc dark green ghw. Am torn only because of impracticality. I have a mini kelly and yes I carry her but not as often as my other pieces. Any thoughts from those with croc and how often you carry your bag? Was hoping for black but my SA raised the bar! Should I grab her and run? Thanks in advance!

Sounds beautiful! What is the reason you don’t use your existing MK often? Is it because of its size (in which case you’d have the same issue with this one) or because of its color/specs (in which case a dark green might work better)? And even when you don’t use it much, is the number of occasions that you actually use it still worth it for you? Only you have answers to these questions good luck deciding!

Sounds like a yes to me! The only other thing I would consider is would you still wish that you just got a black one instead of this one, but tbh this would be so much more interesting and sounds like you can totally rock it instead of black!! So yes +1 to grab it and run

Would not pine for black, as I believe I have a variety of black options for now. Yes, you are right this color will be interesting, neutral while not "boring" per say. You know hermes colors and leathers look different per batch as well as under different lighting etc. Thank you so much again!

I have been using my mini Kelly for the evening and absolutely love love love it!
Fits: iPhone, compact, lip balm, lipstick, card holder and a pocket pack of tissues.

Thank you for sharing. I’m so glad I finally found someone saying they can fit tissues and a compact too along with iPhone and cardholder. All the things you mentioned are my absolute essentials though I can leave out 1 lipstick. Can you fit in a car key and some house keys? Thank you!

It’s a red leaning pink, quite similar to Rose Extreme. A search of the forum will bring up many examples for you but especially in these threads. I’m not sure we’ve seen it in a mini Kelly yet (except the bicolor red/pink one)

KP is interesting because it has exterior seams but no additional rigidity layer. Thus if we were being quite literal, I suppose it would be a Sellier Mou Mini Kelly? Nonetheless, the current H naming scheme, as taken from the Special Order kit’s illustrated cards, is that the traditional Mini Kelly II 20cm (with regular handle and strap) is now the “sellier kelly mini” and the kelly pochette is the ”Kelly Mini”
