pierina,
YOU are a ravishing BEAUTY! You need to model for Hermes. I love every items in these pictures, but the best part about them is you. So good to see you!
Hope you are doing well! :smile1:

Ladybaga, thank you, but you're getting carried away! it's so very nice to see you too, I miss your happy smile in the SOTD and all of your cheerful silks. :hugs:

Perfect Poncho weather here, not cold enough for a heavy roll neck sweater so I reached for a silk to keep the neck warm .
Setting off to do an exchange at H , hence orange bag! Also carrying a beaten up Garden Party in Amazonia that I love to bits.
Surprised to find a Belles de Mexique gavroche that looked fun with my Rouge Rocabar ; not too much silk but just enough!

Thanks Israeli Flava isn't it fun to think of those us all wearing our Ponchos over the globe ?
You must post one of yours soon!

Just getting a taste for wearing a silk with mine thanks to Arabesques and Pierina
Last year was colder so I put a PM cashmere or wore a roll neck , in any event one thing about getting older is I get colder , especially around the neck :D

You look SO fabulous, frou frou! Your Belles is a perfect accent. And I hear you about cold necks. But,somehow I can feel instantly warmer with anything by H around my neck. :p

Pierina That's funny so do I !
Your own navy Poncho is such classy piece, I'd love to try that one. I was in Bond Street yesterday, no ponchos at all there this year .

You. Look. Stunning.

Rainneday that's sweet of you , thank you!

The noir/navy Alamo poncho arrived today, just in time for the frigid weather. Love it!I've already I've already cut off the big white materials tag in the front, it must be required because it sure didn't look very Hermes. Wore it all afternoon. :D

(Sorry that the pics are so bad, there just isn't enough light to get the colors right and if I lighten them anymore they're too blurry. I'm almost 5'9", the Lindy is Prunoir, the 90 silk is Texas and the GM mousseline is Coup de Fouet.)

Found it! When I learned on th SOTD thread that there was a new poncho in your closet I just had to investigate, and as expected, it's fantastic on you!!!! I'm seriously thinking about adding this cw to my collection, don't you just love it?!? 😍

Such a great look, frou frou—the Amazon GP is superb with a poncho. I'm so happy to see you pairing it with a silk. It was just slightly nippy yesterday, and I found that wearing a carré was enough to make a light jacket warm enough. Silk around the neck is autumn's great trick no matter what else one is wearing.

I love the way you wear your poncho! And these are great autumn colours.
We are boot twins!!!

After going to the crazy H sale yesterday, I thought there's only one place that could soothe my exhausted mind. I'll be playing with it a lot in the coming days~

Congratulations, cavalla, on your beautiful rouge h poncho! Wear it in happiness.

Thanks, katika. Happy to be twins with the boots. I'm always astonished at how soft they are around the ankle, making them so easy to walk in. I'm looking forward to the weather cooling a bit more so I can traipse around in them day in and day out.

What a cute idea~ You look good in your poncho! :)

Cavalla Thank you, and hope to see you in yours very soon!
Love the idea of cocooning in the poncho after the stress of a H sale.
Hope you have some lovely H souvenirs.I've never been to one and reading the remarks about hordes and queues can't imagine myself coping with it;)

Thank you sweet Arabesques Funny how much I love the old Amazonia, it's like a piece of nature in it's ageing : mottling of colour, small creases and cracks, and loss of shape …...
As for silk plus Poncho , I didn't get it at all last year , yet now I'm donning the two together like a pro :p

Hi textilegirl!!!! It's so nice to see you! Thanks for tracking me down, and saying such nice things about the new poncho. This color is SO versatile, and if you wanted you could either remove/cover/ignore the H neck label and wear it inside out with mostly black showing. Not that I'm enabling......too much. ;)

For me, and for you, frou frou, it took some time getting used to the poncho idea. But there are so many around now I can see that the H stores would find it harder to keep them in stock. I had to wait a bit for mine to come in, so perhaps they could order you something to try if you wanted? They are so comfortable and easy to wear. :smile1:

I had this one and return it because I thought I looked bad with it...I thought I was too small (I'm 1m68)...but everytime I browse this thread I have second thought...you are all looking so chic with your Ponchos Ladies  !!!
