Confettis D'Ex-Libris
Ivory 01
Noir 05
Brun Terreau 06
Rose Dragee 09
Rouge Coquelicot 10

Saw the above colours today. Ivory is off-white/creamy. Rose Dragee is a pale pink and Rouge Coquelicot a bright red with orange undertones. Brun Terreau is a greyish brown with green undertones. This is the only one which the Ex Libris motifs appear contrasting. With the rest of the colourways, the print just blends into the cashmere/silk.

Obviously the feel of these stoles are not as silken smooth as the GM shawls as the composition of cashmere/silk is 85/15 (versus the 65/35 for the GM shawls). Notwithstanding, it's still soft and snuggly to be wrapped in one. I love the simplicity and understated-ness of these stoles.

So...msp, which one/s went home with you???:graucho:

Mai Tai and MsP - It is very possible that this is made of parachute silk and it folds up into the little bag she is holding.

The colors are orange, olive/cognac, sky blue, midnight blue ,white/ black , and burnt red/white:smile1:

I believe 06 is the colour allaboutnice has.....thankfully it doesn't look poopy!! :p

LOL Mooks - it IS kinda swampy-green. Although I fell in love with the colour and didn't find out the name until I looked up brun terreau in my french dictionary, compost brown, it doesn't put me off though - proper compost is great sweet-smelling stuff - when it's done properly - my DH is a connoisseur of compost - he has an allotment - not sure if they exist in the States - a small plot of land for growing vegetables, fruit etc - composting is an important part of it, very 'green' too. Poop does play a part though - he collects bags of it from our local riding centre to top it up, lol. That doesn't smell so great when we are all in the car coming back, bags of poop and all.

Luxury - Mangue is mango - so I guess it will be a pretty shade of mango orange.

I would love the same shawl in black now - looks great in those pics.

I know. I'm probably going to get more colors. It is such a classy, understated shawl.

AAN, I have seen and tried the Brun Terreau and indeed is way lovelier than the official colour name accorded LOL. My dad is an avid gardener and does his own compost too.

I agree these shawls are great as they transient seasons!

 Thank you for the information! Parachute silk, wonder how is that like? Can't wait to see them in person.

GS the pink is very you! Which one did you go for in the end? I'm getting the black and waiting to see which colourway is this one here.

ETA : If Mangue is bright orange, could this be Clementine? Can't wait for someone to post.
