Thank you, FrenchSandra. The colors are 01 and 03. I would love some input from you.:smile1:

BBC - your 03 is so pretty. Thank you for posting pictures.

Maedi, I tried the 01 at my boutique. Very bright CW, with many pop colors. I know that this kind of CW is difficult for me to wear and that it is not in my favorite color palette.
So, without any surprise it didn't work for me IRL.

But it is a stunning CW, and if you are not afraid of bright and vivid colors, it could be a strong piece in your wardrobe (BTW, saw here many wonderful pics of Ladies rocking it).

For the 03 (BBC CW), I have to say that it is (IMO) easier to wear. The colors are softer and more "classic". Indigo and Rouge H are more automnal colors, but the yellow, peach, and hint of green make this shawl easy to wear all year round and with many clothes...
I have to say that I didn't see this 03 shawl IRL, but I have a real weakness for the Indigo waves and I could have hard time if I add a second CW, to decide between the 05 and the 03 :cloud9:

So dear Maedi, don't know if it helps, and the choice really depends on your taste (the two CW are very different. Then it may be easier to know which one is more you, no??).

Waiting to see on a beautiful pic your final choice. :hugs:

I have to agree. As much as I love 08 (my first one), it is absolutely a spring/summer colorway, and IRL I cannot make it work with black. That's why I had wanted 05, like you, as I thought would be more versatile, but I wear quite a lot of navy and 03 is really smashing with navy. 05 is still somewhat pale like the 08, so I thought the two might compete. 03 is a bold colorway without being too bold (01 is way too bold for me!), and I think it will pop with black and will work any season. That said, it is totally not my colors, but 07 is a great, not too bold, multiseasonal cw as well. The brown waves really work for me, and if for some reason I would up with a third, that would probably be it.

Thank you, FrenchSandra. It really comes down to trying on the scarf. I only have one other GM and it's pink based. My boutique is not close so I don't have the luxury of always trying on the scarves I am interested in. Perhaps, my SA could hold both colors for me to try on in the next two weeks. I so appreciate your input. 01 speaks to me but might be too colorful and bright. I like 03 a lot but there are also some areas I am not that thrilled with (the brown). It would be essential to see them both in real life.

Thank you, BBC - I value your views and you are in agreement with FrenchSandra. I love the way you showed 03 tied with mostly the blue showing.

So happy to join here. Was in love with ELK in 90cm, and have just to find a CW that works for me in 140.

The 07 fits the bill, even if I love the 05 too...
Try it to go out with friends.

This looks AMAZING on you! I love the way you styled it, and I'm a rouge vif fan as well (as you might be able to tell from the Kelly in my avatar).

Can I ask whether you find the plum color in your 07 to have reddish undertones (vs. a blueish plum)? I held back from trying it on in the store, because in the dim lighting we have in the boutiques here, the colors seemed to tend towards reddish-plum, which wouldn't work as well for me as cooler colors. Seeing it in your photos, however, I wonder if I should have tried it on.... uh oh. :sweatdrop:

Yes Calexandre, I love red and especially rouge vif H. Your Kelly seems so gorgeous...Is it fjord?
For the prune, it seems almost brown depending on the light.(so reddish undertones IMO).
I find it works very well with rouge vif.

A few photos....

I've taken some better pictures. I realize the lighting wasn't very good in my original photos, which I snapped in the hotel room and emailed to myself so I could attach them to my post through the iPad app...took much better ones last night, with proper lighting, now you can really see the colors...and yes, I do try to fold so as to maximize the waves as I wear it, with bits of color showing at the neck...

Thanks for great pics of cw03 BBC. This is one cw I'm interested that I have yet to see in person. It's lovely! Would you say the blue waves have a hint of purple? Like indigo blue?

I'd say it is very much a primary blue, like they use for toys, with just a hint of indigo. Actually, it looks like it may be the cashmere version of bleu electrique.

I am sitting here looking at it in the box, and I just noticed that the contrast hem is not actually the same color as the waves (which is what I had thought). The hem is definitely more indigo; it looks purple when I fold it next to the waves.

I apologize if this is off topic, but as I love this design, I'm trying to find out the names of the original colorways for the 90cm carre. There is no list in the relevant thread, and after reading through that, here is what I have so far:

01:
02:
03:
04: noir/ocre/petrole
05: lavender/tilleul/vieux rose
06:
07:
08: sepia/cobalt/corail
09:
10: bleu/parme/rouge
11:

Please add more colorway names if you have them! Thank you!

Very very enabling BBC. Thank you very much for the pics.

Glad to help! :graucho: So many people contribute so generously to our collective knowledge base, I just like to be able to do my part. Everyone here inspires me. Also, buying over the years, I find that it's the very specific and practical information that helps the most. A photo of a flat, unfolded scarf is not very helpful unless you plan to display it on a wall. :thinkin:

Please post (or email) a photo! :smile1: I am getting #06 from the wonderful It's-All-Goode.

My brother lives in Sydney and he passes the boutique every day; yesterday he went in and they have 7 different cws...the trick is finding out which ones! I have to give him a full tutorial on getting the names and cw#s from the store tag!
