I guess this makes me a triplet and quadruplet (and maybe even quintuplet?). I bought my second pink and a blue Tout en Quilt at the September sale.

Hermesmonkey - That is an excellent stack of enamels! I'm so jealous -- I am forced to wear a PM because my hands are so small and collapsible. I think they stopped growing after the third grade. :p

I can't wait until the September sale. I was going to go back on Saturday or Sunday, but my cold kept getting worse and worse. Even today, a full week into this bug, my laryngitis is barely letting up. I'm disappointed because it looks like there were some really great treasures over the weekend. Oh well. September is only six months away.

BUT Hermes DOES place limits !!! One can only buy 10 scarves, and I filled that allotment easily - with 6 for me & 4 for a very close friend, and she returns the favor by buying for me at her local Hermes sale

As for people dressing comfortably and not looking like "the usual Hermes customer", when I went, there was a nearly two hour wait to get in, a lot of running around once inside, and then an hour long wait to pay. Comfort was a priority.

I'm sorry you didn't get everything you wanted because I know first-hand how frustrating that can be, but to my mind, that's just the way these sales go. It's like being outbid on Ebay. You win some, you lose some. And then on to the next item...

And twilly's count as a whole scarf! They should be amortized ... like four twilly's equals one scarf. All I know is, I spent enough on my friends to buy a Birkin and made no money, and ended up with nothing but a scarf ring for myself, but it comes back in good karma.
