Here's a look at something small and noix, with SGH. It was an overcast day, so these were taken in whatever natural light was available through a skylight and windows. The pictures were making the color look a little gray and not true to life, so I took a few with argent as a background, to give a better contrast. To my eyes, this is taupe, with the emphasis on brown rather than gray. I'm a brown lover, so I really like it. It's different. Not dark, not a reddish brown, nice neutral.

Thank you Rollergirl for the pictures, I really love this combo more than the GGH, I think. Oh Boy, I really need to really see both IRL. I'd better wait 'till my next trip to NY, next month.

I love how you describe Noix! Congrats on your Pochette SGH! Noix goes so well with SGH  Love it! Thanks for sharing :D And I love your argent (and the leather )

It may be possible that my small item IS a bit browner than some of the bags out there. Given all the pics I'd seen, I was a little (pleasantly) surprised when I got it. It was a bad day for pics when I took these, but they are pretty true to the color with the exception that they don't show very well the slight sort of pinkish or mauvish undertone (that's my best, subjective attempt to describe what I see) this color has. Maybe the first one does a little. It isn't strong - one time you look and you can't see it at all, then you can. Other people with noix/walnut may know what I'm trying to say. It's part of why I like the color. I'll definitely get a bag now.

noix may be one of those colors that changes by the bag! the noix city and work i saw at balny looked like this - even a tad redder. however, their lights are flourescent, which can change colors. pretty color either way.
