You know what, I like it. I like that its different while everything else is "the same". If you are able to put together an outfit to show off the fun proportions I think it's a great piece to add to your closet.
I actually noticed this coat as well from the same brand, also with a unique flair to it. I decided though that since I need a rain coat, I should get one which is more practical and classic. This could be a rain coat I get AFTER I get one which is better for everyday wear (which is why I have barbour in my wishlist right now).
I have not but I have a vague memory of seeing people discuss it on reddit. If you throw "Hydropeptide Reddit" into google, it'll pull results just from reddit where you can get some honest remarks and feedback from people (I do this for almost all reviews I search for lol).
Youre right - definitely wasnt there at first! I am wondering if that was the case for the brown suede/leather Bernardo coat we all just recently talked about- I searched for leather coats and do not recall seeing that. Guess I'll poke around some more too!
You can pull up the anniversary sale items and then sort by “newest” to see what they have added. This is what I have been doing although not sure if it shows a new color for items that were already out there. Also remember that sometimes things show as “1” remaining because they have added the item but not necessarily shown or updated the inventory balances yet.
I've had no issue with either. I have one set of Slip, one set of Blissy, and then a bunch of random ones from Amazon that are actually better than both.
I think the design is awesome... my caveat would be, it's definitely a style that feels more trend-driven versus something that will have longevity over the years. That may or may not be an issue for you! I'd say when you try it on, if you don't love it immediately don't buy it/hold onto it assuming you'll like it more as time goes on. If you're unsure initially, I 99% guarantee it will sit in your closet unworn. (This is true of everything we're adding to our wish lists, not just this particular jacket!)
When I do this, I’m getting stuff I have seen before at the top. And I haven’t looked at some of the shown items/brands in a few days. Weird.
Did anyone else notice that there’s not a standard or expandable Longchamp Le Pliage this year? There’s the leather version, but no nylon (or whatever that material is).
This is a little off-topic but it was in today's newspaper. 😢 Looks like they will be open for the anniversary sale but closing a month later. Very sad for our community and this mall that is almost empty now.
I added it to my wishlist with this exact same thinking. I tend not to follow trends anymore and wear what makes me happy and makes me feel good. I have a decent selection of jean jackets already, but will try this one on to see what I think of it (really for the no FOMO later).
I agree, that happened to me as well, so I just went through the categories I'm interested in again. Some of the items that are new (or I don't remember seeing) were mixed in pages later.
I was looking for this in the sale. I don't need a new one, but I love seeing what new color is added to the ones from previous years.
This makes me sad but not surprised. That shopping center/area isn't what it used to be ever since COVID. I remember a few years ago that when I tried to book my ICON dining reservation and looked at this location, the restaurant was closed. I was so confused. Ended up dining at the Century City location and mentioned it to our server who said that the restaurant wasn't busy at all and some of their service staff came to work at this location instead.
Someone asked about these new balance that were so hot last year, I wore them out yesterday because I didn’t want to give an opinion without having worn them recently. They are extremely comfortable! The reason I had to break them out is because you know how we are, grab for the favorite & I prefer the Hokas which I also got at last years sale.
