Im the same- Generally if I find out that a brand or owner of a brand is heavily into something that I am against, its hard to buy from them. I just feel icky if I do.

I need some advice. I am considering the La Canadienne booties, but I am unsure. I need comfortable boots because I have an autoimmune condition that causes chronic pain, and I've been told that the brand makes comfortable shoes. On the other hand, they are just so plain. I want something more stylish, but I don't want to sacrifice comfort. My other concern is tariffs. Who knows what the price of boots from this brand may be once the tariffs are fully implemented?

They look classic. Because they are plainer they can be worn with a lot of things. I would advise trying them on in the store if you can to gauge comfort and fit. But they do look good and look like they can be worn for more than one year. I have terrible luck with boots and booties and I hope these work out for you if you buy them.
I own the second one and am very happy with it. Bought it a couple of years ago in brown. Fits on the shoulder nicely and I like the flap in front for my phone so I don't have to open my purse. The only thing I didn't like was the super long suede strings that hang in the front but I just clipped them down. I don't like big purses since I don't carry a lot plus its not heavy.
I'm looking for a platform sandal in a natural color and saw these by Veronica Beard and Toms. I know the VB shoes are definitely more high fashion but they are so similar in pictures - not sure they are worth the $250 price point. For anyone that owns VB, are they comfortable and do they run true to size?
I'm looking for dresses and it appears this "Lace Bodice Tiered Shirtdress" only comes in plus size. I am large so sometimes I can wear plus sizes but strange this is only plus.
