Somehow [and def in denial because outside of arthritis in my knees and needing reading glasses, I think I'm 25] I'm only a year older than you and made it through to the other side of the hormone roller coaster. Between this new appreciation for natural fibers (hello, linen) and knowing my color season (Cool Winter), it's much easier to shop for items to actually wear and love. Color analysis can be so helpful!
Currently adding a ton of items to the NAS wish list and will pair down after a dive into fabric content (okay with some synthetics for cooler months and athletic clothing). My budget is much smaller this year and want to be sure I can get a lot of use out of whatever is purchased. There's a bomber jacket on my list and it's t-shirt weather here for most of the year. CAN'T HELP THAT I LOVE LIGHT JACKETS.
Gotta say, it's so much fun making a list for Santa (except we are our own Santas haha). Need to sort through this list and move some items to the "Anniversary Deeper Discounts" list for later. Receiving notifications in the fall for lower prices is a nice treat (if even still interested in whatever it was).
Maison de Sabre products are nice (own a bag charm and passport holder). Only complaint is maybe a QC issue? I purchased two passport holders last year because I couldn't decide which color to get and wanted to see them in person. They were completely different sizes! Not sure if maybe AU passports are larger and one slipped into the batch sent to Nordstrom? It was strange, for sure.
I have only used the bag once since I got it. It is a good vacation bag but too small for my daily needs. I think I should have gotten the bigger Justine, lol!
Can I ask how they run sizewise? Did you order your usual size? I’m pretty excited for it. I can always use blazers for work.
Does anyone have experience with Veronica Beard handbags? Are they quality pieces? I'm eyeing the blue Goody bucket bag, but have a slight concern of dye color transfer on lighter clithing.
I bought some Mansur Gavriel flats in last year's sale. I found them true to size. I wear a 7.5-8, and the MGs are a 38. They are super soft leather and comfortable out of the box. I didn't wear them very much, but that's on me. The leather is so soft that I wonder whether they will be durable.
Usual size, or err on the smaller size. I'm 5'2" and petite, I wear the XS.
Maison de Sabre is based in Australia. I have a few of their bag charms (apple and hello kitty) and 2 coin purses (lemon and watermelon). They are known for their whimsical pieces and extraordinary attention to detail and craftsmanship. The leather quality is also excellent. I have not seen the bags irl but I am sure they are beautifully made. I would say the brand is on par with better contemporary brands like Coach, Longchamp, etc.
I had two of the bags, ended up selling them due to sizes not being right for me. But the quality was definitely excellent.
I also have a couple Maison de Sabre items - a small zip wallet and a leather keychain! I love both, got them for Christmas this past year. I might get a charm to add to the keychain, would be cute!
An exercise I find myself doing a lot while looking at this preview is asking myself "would you buy this if it wasn't the anniversary sale?" And so many times the answer is no. 😂 I am not sure what happens psychologically during this sale, but it makes me want to get things I normally wouldn't. I'm trying hard not to do that this year.
I have the canvas one and have been very happy with it. It’s held up really nicely. I’d say my only concern is that it doesn’t hold as much as you think it will.
