So this silly cutting board is an item I am stalking! It has come back in stalk 2 times, aways while I’m asleep. 😂 if someone sees it in store, or has an alternative suggestion I’m all ears.
I did purchase the version that included cutlery as an alternative.
May the odds ever be in our favor!
Haha that's one of my favorite movies (I was a capitol extra in the first one)

I stuck to my list pretty well. The Wit jeans I love are never included in the sale, only high rise made for sale ones, so I skipped those even though I'd like another fresh dark pair.

I only bought the Zella Joggers I like--one on sale, one full price, and then two sizes of the Caslon knit blazer in navy, which is a maybe that I need to see in person.

in purple

in teal

in navy

A lot of you have mentioned the cropped or shorter length sweaters. These are great with the wider legged jeans, either the barrel, baggy or new style flares. None of these are tight in the thigh, and they tend to have a higher waist. The shorter length provides balance and prevents the wearer from looking blocky… longer sweaters land on a wide part of the jean adding width to the wearer… give them a try before dismissing them…
I love this insight!

From your experience, do the Wit and Wisdom jeans stretch a little bit after wearing or a lot (like an entire size)?
They stretch a little. I bought size 2 and 4 once. 4 felt right, 2 was a little tight. After keeping the 4 and wearing it, they stretched a little bit, so I think I should have kept the 2. But not so much that I need a belt for the 4.

Oh also - who has a Dyson air wrap thingie and what say you?! Are they worth the zillion dollars?
I returned mine (and Dyson waited 4 months to refund me!).

I think if your hair holds curl easily, it could be worth it. I got my hair to curl and it would fall within 30 min despite hairspray. There are a lot of “tutorials” online where you’ll see people pinning the curls after curling. IMO for that price, I’m not going to pin curls. Might as well use rollers. I did *love* the brush attachment for volume, but since it wouldn’t replace my beloved Chi spin n curl (whole head curled in 4 minutes, and they last), it wasn’t worth the price. All that to say, if your hair is stubborn with curls, idk if it would work for you. BUT Nordstrom has a fantastic return policy. I would recommend no one ever purchase directly from Dyson.

Ok, all done in the store!

I ended up buying two things that werent even on my radar- one being the Frame asymmetric dress that someone else on here posted. I saw it on the rack and figured I might as well try it on, well of course I loved it so I bought it. I got a size small, I usually am a medium but like how the small fits.

The other item was the black and white stripe polo shirt from rag & bone. They only had a small so I tried it on and was happy with fit- it was def super snug but I liked it a lot soooo it came home with me.

Other than that, I bought the grey nordstrom blazer as I planned, some bombas socks, l’occitane hand cream set and 6 white bath towels (should have ordered these online because they were bulky and heavy).

I also tried on the halogen sweater tank and even tho I like the color, the material just isnt my favorite - It's that type of synthetic that has a ton of stretch but also feels thick and "crispy", hard to explain but I hate it. Pictured is a small, medium would have been too big. Did not buy.

Oh also for customizing the tote, sadly only one S was left (and I wanted two) however I think I managed to make it look cute!!

Overall I was happy with the experience- got my coffee, snacks, water, and quiet shopping time.

Just returned from Topanga and was so happy to see TPF poster @HeatherGrace at the store! We share the same SA! Hope you and your daughter are having a great time!

The actual ambassador event was minimal - a small snack box, bottle water, coffee and vouchers for lunch and beauty products. Most of my shopping was on-line (last night during their no-expedited shipping issue). Anyway, here is what I found today:

My favorites: Halogen rib sweater skirt and Halogen rib mock neck top. True to size. The skirt in the picture is silver smoke gray and I also bought the warm ash brown.
Not so favorite: Farm rio dress. It is VERY long - will need at least six inches (I'm 5'5") shortened and the top area runs small and its very loose around hips and abs. This was a no for me mostly because of the expensive tailoring to hem this material
Yes: Zoe and Claire Sleeveless pintuck midi sweater dress.
Yes: Topshop Cable sweater skirt and sweater crop cardigan in
mushroom color.

Yes: Wit and wisdom raw hem high waisted bootcut jeans
Yes: UGG EZ Duzzit Platfrom sneakers in blue and ceramic. They do make your feet look big but they are so comfortable, like walking on memory foam pillows.
No: Halogen oversized colorblock cardigan. This was a double extra small and way too boxy and oversized for me.
Yes: UGG Golderstar cozy clog: Very comfy and you can order half sizes! True to size.

I also bought three more pairs of black wit and wisdom and the Top Shop cable sweater and skirt in grey. Not pictured: The On Cloud 5 running shoes - they were so hard and stiff and they do run small - not for me.
It was so fun seeing you there as well! I appreciated getting to see a fellow TPF’er and to share in some of the discoveries. Your feedback and suggestions were spot on! ❤️
My daughter (8) had an absolute blast. It was an entirely different vibe but fun! She was dancing to the DJ, wanted to constantly go to the “stage” in the dressing room for a show of our outfits, was thrilled when the shoe girl informed her that not only were her feet the same size as mine, but one was a tiny smidge bigger (!!!). She loved the gifts, we had her name embroidered on the reusable cavas tote, she even got a balloon! She also enjoyed helping me treat our lovely SA with a much needed coffee. Thank you again for the introduction - she is a jewel and makes the experience so much better!

Check Williams Sonoma. They carry Viking and run sales. Also if you want a great cutting board try Boos. They last a lifetime with proper care.

Yeah Viking is a nice brand but cutting boards is not their forte. Boos is the gold standard for chefs, we've had ours for years.

That Viking one seems like more of board for charcuterie if you're looking for a functional kitchen cutting board go with Boos.
