Yep the new balance sold out first and super fast, within the first 10 min of ordering. I struck out too on those. I did store pick up and the store didn’t even get them so that will be canceled off my order once they finish pulling it all together. Thankfully the pink and green adidas were shipping only and those already shipped because those sold out within 15-20 min of ordering in my size.

Hope your stuff ships and doesn’t get canceled.
Me too. I am putting some "backup" stuff in my cart now.

I just got back from my store. I ordered a few items before I went: A Boss polo for my hubby, the F & E popover in the raisin color and the Le Labo perfume gift set. I didn't see those items in my store, so that was a good call. As others have mentioned, they had a snack box, coffee, water/juice. We got a little canvas bag which I had embroidered with my first name (you could do that or initials. Interestingly, I didn't see anyone else coming up to the station to have this done). That was fun. I also got a scratch-off card (won $5--good after August 15), a $25 lunch gift card, and $15 gift card towards beauty that can be used starting August 15. As for shopping, I got my usual bras, undies, and an Ugg throw. Since it was relatively quiet, I got a few perfume samples made to think about. I might find more that I want, but I'm pretty solid on my wardrobe right now. My husband wants nothing.

I can’t decide if I should go walk around Nordstrom or TJ Maxx during my 40 minutes while my daughter is at physical therapy.
I did both. 😂

They didn’t have the red Cole Haans out at my store, but they did have a 6, 7, 8 in both black patent & tan. It’s a good thing because the 7 was slipping off the back of my foot. Going to size down to the 6.5.

They had the brown gazelles on the display in a 7. Those are completely sold out online. They run big so I need a 6.5.

I swear I’m a true size 7. 😂

Ahh Im a bit bummed out. My top pick for this years sale was the Nordstrom Rib Zip Cardigan in grey... It was fully in stock of all sizes yesterday and today I woke up to see that the grey is completely out of stock and off the site! I didnt see anyone talk about this or anything so it was a surprise for me to see that, boo. And in store they only have the tan version. I suppose I could just try the tan on for size so then I know whether to stalk the small or medium.
I tried on the tan in store yesterday but didn’t take a picture. The small fit me (I’m usually S/M and 6/8). I didn’t get it because I didn’t think I would reach for it often, as it was a bit itchy and not totally my style. Granted, I didn’t have a tank underneath, which would help with the fabric.

I also tried the tan, earlier today actually! I made a post with some photos about an hour ago or so. The small also fit me, medium would have been much too generous and Im the same size as you. Thankfully I didnt find it itchy, however I DID have a top on under! Im keeping my eyes peeled for the grey because the tan doesnt suit my skintone.

Have any of you gone in store to try on stuff before your designated shopping day? I am not able to purchase until tomorrow but want to go in to just try some stuff on... Id rather not have any awkward confrontations lol although I guess if someone asks me I could always say that yes I am able to shop today.
There were some people who were shopping yesterday morning during Icon that wasn’t Icon. The SA kept their clothes and will ring them for presale when it’s their turn to shop. Plus, when the store opened, tons more people were shopping than during the event so I assumed they’re not Icon. My store wasn’t roped off so anyone can look at the sale racks.

I was able to shop in store with my daughter and mom, which was fun. We had an SA set up a room for stuff and she pulled everything on my wish list 🤣 I tried to tell her which ones I really liked but she insisted. And good thing because I did buy things that weren’t at the top of my list. Everyone at the store was super kind and friendly, I’m glad we went. It was pretty dead, which surprised me. The snack boxes and embroidery on the bag were great, would have been nice to have a little more food (but I appreciated the coffee).

Ok things I tried on that I loved - this Julia Jordan dress is amazing, fit and colors. Highly recommend! I paired it with the Steve Madden boots (which I loved and had no intention of buying, whoops) and this green hat (which I loved and was great in person).

I also loved this Julia Jordan dress but prefer the burgundy color - it’s clingy so if you’re in between sizes maybe go up one.

This halogen dress was the sleeper hit for me, I can’t recommend it enough. It has pockets, the fabric is casual but voluminous, it’s elegant and can be dressed up but is also perfect for a casual summer day. Like this really wow’ed me (can you tell?) It pays to try things on in store if you can!

I loved this Caslon sweater but am not getting it now since my budget was spent. It’s a nice thick cotton and I love the pop of orange. I paired with wit and wisdom jeans and the Nordstrom ballet flats - love the shape of these and the price is right for quality.

Things I tried but didn’t get - Zoe Claire dress is lovely, but I didn’t feel like I’d wear the white tweed enough, I didn’t love the super low neckline on this green wayf dress but loved the sleeves and quality was good, finally this Chelsea28 dress was lovely but too formal for my purposes.

Online I bought the madewell striped sweater, Ugg slippers, Bernardo woven brown flats, mini Boden for my little boy, strawberry sleeper for the baby and madewell belt. So far everything is shipping or ready for pick up. Lastly my daughter got the Habitual black denim ballet dress (this was so nice!), Tucker and Tate pink denim jacket (super cute and will last a few years), the Tucker and Tate Teddy sweatshirt (her favorite) and the mini boden shirt with horses.

A much more successful day than I intended it to be! And I still need to order my MV turquoise necklace. I hope everyone has fun today and this week!

Does anyone have any experience with Nordstrom brand shoes? Are they comfortable?

I have both of these on my wishlist and they are different enough that I can justify both, right? 😂

I have the Nordstrom ones and tried them on yesterday. The padding inside was surprising, as it was more cushy than I thought. I haven’t worn ballet flats in years, so hard to compare with others. I’m still thinking about them since I’m wondering whether I would wear them enough. I thought the red shading was a good neutral.
