The NAS opens on July 9th for Icons, July 10th for Ambassadors, and July 11th for Influencers. The public NAS starts on July 15th and runs through August 4th.

So hence, this year I am changing things up. Tysons first, MM 2nd. Both my SA’s will get plenty of sales.

I finished ordering my bajillion items, haha. Most of my wishlist will be available for pickup tomorrow or Wednesday. I had seven items that will require shipping and two items out of stock:
I'm not too worried about any items being canceled (at least not right now) since I didn't purchase any coveted items (I don't think) and nothing that I absolutely needed.

I'm still heading to tomorrow's shopping party to check out some other items I didn't order but am curious about. Hopefully, my pickup orders will be ready before I leave the store.

For those of you interested in MaxMara they have an olive colour camel lux jacket. For those of you who can wear this colour it’s very versatile. It’s a very lightweight jacket but with good insulation. I have two and wear them mostly layered under a winter coat such as one of their wrap coats…

For anyone interested in a leather jacket I see Boss have one. I have found their leather to be of very high quality and very soft. Also they have a lovely leather skirt…

From a jeans perspective I note people have mentioned the barrel shape. I have some in that style for a few years now and like them. I have also recently tried the Frame palazzo jeans and loved the shape, however the crop length was a problem as they just looked a bit short… for reference I’m 5’7” they would be better on someone shorter or indeed maybe taller 🤔

To be honest a lot of the products look a little tired… I think those of you shopping in person are right as you will know how something looks and feels. For those shopping online be ruthless and if it’s only okay return it… you should be excited about new purchases. A sale is only good value it you really want the item..

I’ve often said think of your total spend. If you had that for just one or maybe two items what would you buy? It might be better to get one or two fabulous items….

Icon order placed! The only thing sold out was the Nordstrom cashmere hoodie which I can honestly live without anyway. Took the red Reiss pants out of my cart at the last second because I just don’t know how I would wear them.

My biggest disappointment has been the kids section this year. I normally grab new North Faces for my kids, along with shoes for the school year. No NF and the shoe selection stinks.

Overall, I’m happy with my purchases but definitely didn’t have the excitement of years past.
