This is not Nordstrom related but I wanted to share my excitement somewhere, I already told my closer friends lol. My boyfriend and I need some new furniture for our house and we love Arhaus but it's out of our budget. Well we were in store and were able to snag a floor model leather recliner (that we actually wanted!!) for only $500 after tax! It is $3300 full price. We are so excited! Im going back there tomorrow to poke around some more to see if there are any other hidden gems... There was some amazing deals.

Nordstrom related - Earlier I was refreshing the Frank & Eileen popover page and got a warning from Nordstrom that it was suspicious activity and to call them if it's an error lol now I feel embarrassed.

I love this on both counts. LOL! I LOVE that you were able to get something you wanted to begin with at the discounted rated.

And I laughed out loud when you said you were embarrassed because that is SO what I would do and feel. LOL!

I’ve forgotten who wanted this link to the Rag & Bone cardi. I was able to order the XXS and S. I would like to get my hands on an XS, but I’m not heartbroken if it doesn’t happen. The XXS arrived and it’s kind of just okay. The knit is fine, but it’s too short. It looks like a toddler sweater on me if I button it, but I’m tall. Although, I’m surprised the sleeves are long enough which never happens in XXS’s for me. The buttons are kind of flimsy for a $300 sweater. My small should arrive soon. Not going to stress over the XS.

Okay bag ladies (hehehe), I have been on this mission for about a year that seems like it should be easy but so far no cigar. I’m looking for a medium to large satchel /tote/shoulder bag that can carry all the normal stuff - sunglasses, wallet, phone + a water bottle and a light layer rolled up for me or my kid and maybe a snack. I don’t want a giant open tote. I want something with structure that I can set in the passenger seat and reach in and get something easily without it flopping all over the place. A top zipper is required without a big flap over it. A flap over a front pocket or a tiny strap that I don’t have to buckle would be fine but I need nothing between my one hand and my stuff except a zipper. A pocket inside is preferred but the only pocket I require is an outer one big enough for a phone or car keys without having to lube them up first to get them in the tiny slot.
Doesn’t have to be leather. Other acceptable fabrics would be canvas or cotton, but no pleather. Too hot when it’s against my body. Makes my arm sweaty slippery. Oh and I need a handle strap(s) and a longer strap - either shoulder or cross body are fine - doesn’t matter.

Basically a Chloe Marcie bag that’s 90% off!

Seriously though, many many many designer bags for these criteria. Isn’t this what a lot of people are looking for?!

I feel like I’ve looked everywhere. Best I found criteria-wise was the madewell zip top transport tote but it was so boring to me I just couldn’t handle it.

So before a recommendation I am going to say the following…. I know it’s tempting to put a hand into your bag while driving but it is a distraction, more than you might think. Try to have everything you need out of your bag in advance. I am just thinking of your safety 😊

Now on to the fun stuff, yet the zipper is hard to find! But a tote I have found great for structure, size, durability and quality is the mulberry tote… unfortunately it doesn’t have a zipper but does have a clasp. The leather is thick so it stands up on its own and tucks under your arm very well. Price point while expensive is better value than most Mulberry bags… the one pocket is in the inside but easy to access and it is detachable. I hope this helps…

Try the Marc Jacobs tote bag. It has a zip and structure and a medium comes in at less than $200 retail before taxes for the canvas ones.

The last of my items shipped. I ordered another Natori sports bra, another washable silk PJ set, and a Zella tee. I got a Lancome face moisturizer set it came with a "gift with purchase" that shipped separately. Wouldn't they be all together, pick up one pick up the other. I thought that was funny.

The Nordstrom Cashmere hoodie arrived in the large and I'm glad I got that size it is a perfect fit. The medium would have been nice but I like the slight slouch of the large.

That concludes my shopping but you never know what cute item will get posted and will be a must-have.
