Welcome to the official 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Thread!

The NAS opens on July 9th for Icons, July 10th for Ambassadors, and July 11th for Influencers. The public NAS starts on July 15th and runs through August 4th.

Just took a look through all my favorite brands- Honestly, not super impressed with what I saw. No Nordstrom Signature items (did this line get discontinued?? Just realized I cant find any items on the nordstrom or rack sites), I feel the Eileen Fisher items are just meh and boring, and as expected, most items are the same as last year but in different colors.

I did add a few items to my wishlist - Some Bombas socks, a Faherty t shirt with striped sleeves (I love the hoodie but already have 3 similar hoodies from them so it would be overkill to get a fourth), some Nars cosmetics items, YSL brown mascara duo, the Veronica Beard pink cardigan, some Hoka sneakers and the greenish/earth colored Paul Green loafers. I added some photos below (except for the Nars and YSL).

Agreed, not seeing a lot of new stuff, most of the items are markdowns on existing stock. No good cashmere or coats. Looks like the Austin Powers VB jacket is their only stand out item and based on your love of Austin Powers it could really work ;)

The kids stuff is normally solid, no Vans this year which is really odd.

I know they add things closer to the sale like Smythe blazers but they change the sale up so much I'm wondering if they abandoned the sale as well. I was almost hoping to find one of those old gems to get my hopes up but as of now, nada...

While I didn't add a TON of things to my wish list, I actually thought there were some really nice pieces to choose from so far!

Something I thought was nice is that there seems to be a good selection within each trend. For example, if you want to try a pair of Mary Janes, there's everything from flat/ballet style (sort of The Row dupes) up to block heel chunky, in a bunch of colors. Or if you want to try super wide leg jeans, there's a range of washes as well as lengths, from cropped down to long/slouchy. I just think that's fun and can help you incorporate a seasonal trend in a way that fits with your own personal style.

Well I found some stuff to spend my money on. I am looking g at ON and HOKA sneakers, western boot, MV, JB jewelry and a couple more like all saints. I have some beauty items listed too. Clothing are some collared sweater shirts, straight jeans, wit and wisdom pants. Notice I did not see white collared button up shirt... my wish is to find silk blouse (plus size). 2 years and I continue to strike out.

These are the things that caught my eye. My process is to add all the stuff I initially like to a wish list I make for the sale, then create another list that is narrowed down to my must buys. This is my initial list (plus a bra and some other PJs). I like having the master list so I can watch things later in the season and buy the stuff I still want down the road if the price drops low enough.
