I wear lots of kinda-crazy earrings - dangling, safety pin, flamingos, well, all kinds of dangling. I LOVE big earrings :) I also wear a lot of natural stone stuff - natural stone necklaces and bracelets. I love how they look. I like getting handmade pieces at craft fairs and fair trade shows and shops.

love barneys coop jewlery! They have the best stuff, the lines are so unique!! My fav lines are iosselliani, bing bang/Anna schedffield, and mawi. They don't sell mawi anymore though :(. Anyway u guys should def check out the mawi site, they're stuff is to die for! Some of their stuff looks like really extravagant antique jewelry.

I also love solange azagury-partridge, unfortuantely, I can't afford most of her stuff, bit it's really funky fine jewelry, it's not costume. But she's got these enamel hot lips rings and this heart of gold necklace that's shaped like a real human heart. You should really go see her stufF it's AMAZING!

Although it doesn't really fit my personal style & taste, I agree, I think she has a very creative (and even mischievous) style, very distinct and adventurous.

(I personally would look very silly with a hot lips ring :D)

I love jewelry, haha. I find it everywhere - thrift stores, vintage, crafts bazaars, etc. One of my favorite necklaces is part of an amethyst geode on a copper chain that a man made for me on a street in Chicago. And he wasn't even a vendor.

I would love to show you pictures but can't at the moment - I've been living and volunteering in rural Africa for the past seven months as part of a gap year program :)

Living in rural Africa and still get the chance to post on the forums huh? :graucho: we all need our luxuries...:p

I love vintage jewelry too, and tend to stay away from brand names. Not that I don't appreciate their designs, I just think that the name adds a premium price when you can find something more interesting and unique elsewhere (at least in my price range). My bf got me monogram jewelry recently with my initials on it, which i thought would be tacky, but the style looks really cool and vintage, like a wax seal. It's nice to have some more unique stuff in my collection
